Chap 40: Walls

Namjoon explains the conversation Aila had with her sister about her mother and how she has cancer. They were astonished and felt betrayed. This is something serious. Their soulmate is going through a lot, and yet she doesn't tell them anything.

"Let me talk to my sister, I told her I was going to call back. We will talk afterwards. I promise." They didn't have time to respond.

"Mami!!!!"

"Hey Baby. How you like my bald head?" Her mom turned sideways so Aila could see her.

"I love it mom. You look beautiful. Did you like the photo."

"YES!!! Yoongi is so cute."

"Mom hold on a sec." Aila put the phone down.

"Can she meet you guys? Over the phone? Only if you are comfortable."

Namjoon told the guys this. They all nodded their heads yes. Aila had to suck up the tears she was feeling in her eyes.

"Mami, would you like to meet them? My soulmates?"

"But I'm bald!" Aila laughed.

"It's ok mom. You look beautiful." She told them to crowd around her.

"Mom this is your favorite Yoongi," Yoongi waved hi with a shy smile.

"Taehyung. Namjoon. Seokjin. Hoseok. Jungkook. Jimin." All of them were shocked to see Aila's mom. Not because she was bald but of how beautiful she was. She had sparkling green eyes, cute freckles, a very defined nose and lips. Even when they could see her skin wasn't the best, she was still beautiful.

"Aila your mom has beautiful eyes." A very surprised Hoseok commented. Aila smiled at Hoseok.

"De, come meet them." A young girl, with long straight hair, plumpy lips and big grey-green eyes came into view.

"This is my sister." They all waved hi. Then her brother came into view. He had forest-green eyes, light skin tone like their mother, and light brown hair.

"That's my brother." The guys were shocked.

"In my moms side of the family, there's a lot of green eyes, blue eyes, pale skin and light hair. I look like my father, but honestly I think I was adopted."

"No she wasn't adopted. I tell her one of her kids is going to look like me." Aila's mom interrupted.

They talked for a little while a lot of interpreting but they made it work.

"Ok mom love you!"

"Ok take care and take care of your boys." The called ended.

"Aila your mom is so pretty."

"Wanna see my mom before cancer?" Aila pulled her phone and showed them photos and videos. She was a beautiful women, still is, but the cancer therapies have made a great impact on her body. They could see that. But they were blown away. They could see were Aila got her curvy body from.

"She keeps saying since I didn't get her eyes my kids will. We'll just have to wait and see." The air turned serious after this.

"Aila, why didn't you tell us." She couldn't help it when her lip started to tremble and her eyes filled with tears.

"How was I supposed to tell you this? We just meet. How do I explain this to you? Something so deep to my heart like my mother fighting cancer?"

Namjoon didn't have an answer.
