Chap 8: Almost Complete

They had gone to a soul doctor upon experience the pain in their chest. The doctor was beyond shocked at the results of the studies they performed. It was an eight piece soulmates bond.

A total of eight people where destined to be together and five of them had found each other.

There are people who go through life without ever being in the same hemisphere as their soulmate, but there are five bonded here!

The guys were also just as shocked, they couldn't believe how bad their soulmate layered had messed up their eyes. They practically had to relearn colors.

First, the doctor explained to them the "intensity" of their bond. Because there are five individual people bonded to each other, there are five sets of "feelings" to influence the bond. So simple things like touching each other, kissing or sexual intercourse feels stronger because so many emotions are attached from each soul piece.

Second, the "pulling" when meeting each other was also going to get stronger. When soulmates spend time together, whether romantically or not, they experience bonding: a process where soulmates become one. But with multiple soulmates, the bonding process is never really finished, not until all the pieces spend enough time together with each other to experience all bonding steps.

The doctor explained bonding steps are different for all couples, but they do the same thing, to bond and glue together the soul that was split.

So when the first two the members began to bond and came across another one of the soulmates, the bond pulled because it wants the new piece to be at the same level of "bondness" as the first two. The bond also gets fueled by the emotions of the pieces aka the "intensity" of the bond.

So Namjoon's and Yoongi's bond pulled Hoseok's. Then when Seokjin came, it was Namjoon, Yoongi and Hoseok fueling the bond. With Jungkook, four people were already bonded. As they meet the others, the feeling would only get stronger, like exponential growth.

The bonded pieces will experiencing what is called an "exorbitant state." Namjoon and Yoongi established a bond when they saw each other. From this step, the bond grows and matures. However, their souls will always be in the look out for the other pieces, hence the ability to feel heartbeats.

Finding Hoseok made them go into this "exorbitant state." A very immensely happy, content and sensitive state. Their soul is so happy it's closer to being completely it makes everything feel more pleasurable. One touch can take their breath away, in a good way. And it's stronger as more people get discovered. The bond will pushed them towards the new soulmate but as the bond settles and grows, this state eventually tires out.

The new piece won't feel the exorbitant. Only at first encounter will they feel something.

When Seokjin came into the picture, the exorbitant state cycles back to the begging, with Namjoon, Yoongi and Hoseok experience the exorbitant state, with an even bigger intensity because there were three mates instead of just two.

At that explanation Seokjin looked at the three with an apologetic look. He didn't know had they craved. He was just so freaked out about having male soulmates he kept his distance. But now that Jungkook came in the picture he understood just how it felt.

His three soulmates kept themselves in checked. They were never disrespectful, and they never initiated anything he didn't feel comfortable with. He looked at them and felt his walls come down. He felt love in his chest for them. He saw how handsome they were and this feeling made his whole body feel relaxed and at peace.

Jungkook  also thought about what was said. He imagined how his hyungs were feeling over him. He was never good at talking about his feelings, but with this new information he decided to be the best he could, for them.
