Sejin came into the room that held all seven soulmates.

He felt guilty.

But what could he have done.

When the information about Aila got out at the research institution, his mind was running with the safety of the members.

He had been with them through so much. He loves them. The idea of Aila having psychotic or sociopathic tendencies scared him.

He talked to the doctors and the researchers at the institute and they gave him a better understanding of the situation. The fact that Aila was the door to such a unique bond meant she was, indeed, a sociopath.

Not that there was anything wrong with her. He had seen her interact with the band members and everything was fine.

After the explanation of what it meant, he felt better. In returned, he listened to the deal the boys offered him.

They had been hurt to figure out how Aila made the bond with Seokjin happened. In reality, it did scare them, more than they like to admit. She had purposely bonded to him. But they were willing to work something out.

They told Sejin they needed space to think about how they could go about the situation. They needed to be away from her to think and look at the big picture. He agreed to their deal because they promised to stay away from her.

They were going fine, until the airport incident. Then came Aila went out with the dancers in Atlanta.

Sejin openly listened to their suggestions about the contract they wanted to make. He felt it was unnecessary. But these two events influenced the decision of a contract.

His boys, the members he cares so much about, have grown into magnificent men. He knew them by heart. When Aila went out, they were hurt. He knew Aila meant no harm, for he saw how she looked. Going out with the dancers was just a way for herself to get distracted.

Such a simple act. It fuel their jealousy. And then came Aila going out with Brian. That was the cherry on top.

Sejin smiled to himself. It was refreshing to see them jealous. It was cute to see them trying to handle their anger. After all, they had always dealt with each other.

Aila was everything they needed to mature into their second part of their lives, a life with a formal romantic relationship. She gave them another perspective, something away from the cameras, scripts, work, and judgement.

Maybe if he had tried harder to convince them not to do the contract. Sejin remembered her reaction to the first one.

It wasn't good.

How did everything fall apart so quickly?

How was Sejin standing in a hospital room, with a missing soulmate?

How was he supposed to tell them she didn't want to be with them?

The paper on his hand was heavy. The heaviest thing he had ever carried.

"Sejin-hyung? Are you ok?" Sejin was brought back from his running thoughts. He tried his best to smile to Hoseok.

"I'm not who you should be worried about. How are you feeling?"

"We could be better. The concerts have been canceled. We can't see Army, and we have lost our last soulmate." Seokjin's sad smile didn't reach his eyes.

"I wish I could go back and change everything. I feel so guilty th..."

"Sejin, please stop. The doctor explained how bonds break. We would never blame you for whatever happened between us." Sejin swallowed the lump in his throat. They are too good for their own good.
