Things were great. Like Aila and Brian completely forgot about their eyes getting damaged great. Both had jobs that they loved. Both helped each other with their hobbies. Their families loved the relationship they had created, everything was great until one day Aila had a wake up call.

Around the beginning of September 2016 a very uneasy feeling started to settle in Aila's chest. She couldn't pin point what it was making her feel like this. It was a nervousness that spread thru her body. Anxiousness. Then this nervousness finally spread on her chest as a heartbreak. Her heart was shattered, and a sob escaped her lips. She held her hand to her heart, the pain of losing something echoed in her head. But how? She hadn't been thru anything recently, was it her mother? No mom was ok, cancer free for the past four years. Then. It. Hit. Her.

Her soulmates

The thought of her soulmates came to her mind. It was like a flash of memory, like remembering something you forgot to take in a rushed day. Her sobs became louder and she allowed the pain to spread in her body and soul. She felt the pain of loss. One of her soulmates had lost someone dear to their heart and this broke her. She couldn't be there to make it better. To hold them, to whisper encouraging words to them. She cried and cried till her eyes were sore and red, till her throat hurt.

Brian found her sobbing in the bathroom floor. He panicked. Aila was such a strong women and he had never seen her so broken. He picked her up and took her to their bed, and did the best he could to confort her. He whispered sweet words and held her to his chest, ran his fingers thru her hair. This made Aila go into a panic attack state. She should be there for her soulmate, instead she's getting pampered with love. She hated this. She felt like she betrayed her soul.

"Nena, can you please tell me what's wrong? Please baby?" Brian kissed her temple and whipped the tears off her face.

"It's my soulmate. Something happened to one of them. They are hurting, and I just feel my heart ache. My chest hurts amor." She sniffed and just cuddled even more to his chest.

"Oh baby I'm sorry. I wish I could help you. I absolutely love your soul. It's so beautiful. I know this is crazy but I would love to meet your soulmates. I'm sure they are just as beautiful as you."

Aila smiled at his words.

"I would love to meet yours too bebe. I'm in love with you, I'm sure I can love the rest of you too."

Brian smiled at this. He knew falling for each other was wrong, but they couldn't help it. People couldn't believe they weren't soulmates because the understanding between them was amazing.

"And also I'm sure your soulmates are just as strong as you. So don't worry, whatever is going on just remember they are strong. And there's a possibility they are with the others Amor. Remember that."

Aila knows this too, but being reminded made her feel better. She hopes somehow she's able to transmit her feeling to them. She thought if she's strong then maybe her soulmate can feel this and fix the pain in their heart.

"I can only imagine the mess your soulmates."

Aila looked up at Brian, with an offensive face.

"You are soooo damn stubborn. If you want you can take over the WORLD Nena. I can only imagine what the rest of your soulmates are like. They are probably goofy. Random. And probably really talented like you. You have such a strong character sometimes. Everyone thinks you are an angel because you come off so nice and innocent, but I know you are not. And you don't like to take shit from anyone."

Brian took a deep breath and rubbed circles on Aila's back.

"And not to mention that you can sleep till like 4 in the afternoon. Who does that?"

Aila busted laughing at this. She really was all over the place. She was introverted and extroverted at times. She could be awkward if she wanted or socialize at a party. Make people laugh or just sit down and enjoy a book. She though she was like this because she belong to so many people. Maybe the others where just like her.

"Like you are any better" Aila raised their voice a bit and jabbed Brian in the chest. "You are just as bad as me, you stress too easily and worry over nothing!" He laughed, took her hand and kissed it.

"I am baby, I'm a hopeless romantic unlike you. I hope some of your soulmates are lovey-dovey cus I have never seen someone who doesn't like to cuddle, or talk about love or feelings or just be nice to someone like you."

Aila laughed even harder at this.

"I think someone else took all those qualities from me. Hey maybe you will steal my soulmates from me"

Brian raised his eyebrow at this, pondering at the statement.

"Don't mind if I do babe."
