"But it is important, princess," Kevin pleaded as Dallia pranced around the room, her mind evidently occupied by something else.

Something else being her plan of action to relieve the village of its stresses, to make the castle she lived in one of morals and humanity.

A smile creeped upon her face at the thought, it was all so exciting yet nerve wracking, but she would be okay - for Hyunjae would be with her, supporting her.

"What is more important than my time?" She asked, floating over to the other side of the room whilst she glanced out the window.

It was becoming a habit, a pathetic one at that. She would find herself sitting upon the windowsill just to see if he was okay, the boy who barely moved from beside his carriage.

"Well, something might be worthy of your time," Kevin said, the girl now glancing at him. "And it it something we are bound to talk about sooner or later."

Dallia let out a low sigh, the prince raising an eyebrow as she pouted her bottom lip. "Another time."

"Every time I try to ask, this is what you say," Hyungseo sounded hurt, and that scared Dallia. "Do you think this is ideal for me, either?"

"No, I do not," she spoke proudly, sitting upon the windowsill. "I would rather hold off until we are to be engaged."

"How much longer do we wait?" He asked, shaking his head as the girl refused to look at him, nor tear her eyes off of Hyunjae. "Your father expects it of us soon, you know that."

"I do," she shrugged, looking over at Kevin eventually. "My father expects a lot from me, and I fear I'll never be able to fulfil his wishes, nor want to."

Her words undeniably stung, not because he loved her, but because he was trying to. She wasn't, however.

"He will know this by now," Dallia said softly, furrowing her eyebrows at the prince. "And it is something he'll have to live with. I'm my mothers daughter."

"Did it take your father years to propose?" He chuckled, sitting down on the bed.

"It did, actually," she nodded slowly, smiling at the thought of her late mother.

The two sat in a silence again, it was common for the room to be filled with such an atmosphere after they had that conversation.

This wasn't the first time that Kevin had tried to propose, his hand clutching desperately at the ring in his pocket which the king had given him, begging him to place it on his daughters finger sooner rather than later.

As always, she would avoid the conversation, but this time it was different. This time, she was holding back.

"Please inform me of my expiry date for this try," the prince joked, the girl shaking her head lightly. "Another few months?"
