The dreaded day was approaching slowly but surely. The princess had thought of every possible way she could plead for the Lee's to stay, but none of them would be effective without her seeming suspicious.

She wanted nothing more than to beg her father to let them stay, to tell him that she and Areum trusted the family so much and felt safer with them here.

Although, she knew that wouldn't work. "They are happy with this?"

Hyunjae sighed. He was sure the two had this same conversation every day. "They are, Dallia. I'm not though, okay?"

"Okay," the princess nodded, the boys hands cautiously reaching to clasp hers. The field was empty today, but he was constantly on edge given what his father had told him. "I'm sorry."

"Don't be," the boy smiled, shaking his head. "We still have a few days, we'll make the most of it, alright?"

Putting on a smile, the princess agreed, looking at the empty sketch pad rested upon his knees. "If it isn't to rain today, could you draw me one last picture?"

"Anything for you," Hyunjae nodded, the girls cheeks flushing as he glanced over at her. "Of what?"

"Of me," Dallia started, looking down at her fingers as she fidgeted with them. "And you, together."

"Only if you promise to never lose it," he chuckled, the girl nodding enthusiastically. Times like this reminded him of how happy they could be together, and how this all felt normal. "And promise to never let anyone else see."

The princess looked between his eyes, a certain sadness that never seemed to leave them glistened in the spring sun. "I promise."

The drawing lay in the rough patch of grass. It was beautiful, although the girl had barely a chance to look at it.

She knew that in the picture, her legs laid lazily upon his in the field, daisies circling the two as they smiled, looking into one another's eyes. She wondered how he could be that great of an artist, that he could capture their loving glances even though he couldn't see himself.

And right now, he was even more of a sight, so much so that she wished he could see himself the way she did.

The night wasn't dark enough for the girl not to see the traces of his muscles every time he moved beneath her, how his sweat glistened as his eyebrows furrowed. "They would have my hands cut off for this, you know."

"It's a bit late for that," Dallia breathed shakily, the boy reaching up to kiss her as his other hand fumbled underneath her dress. "Need help?"

Hyunjae chuckled, watching nervously as the girl stood up, tugging the material down past her ankles.

He watched intently as she lowered herself again, although she noted that the eyes she expected to be lustful were instead ones filled with sadness. "Are you alright?"
