The night before felt like something of a blur to the princess. They had ventured out and it was great, the scenery was beautiful and the company was even better, yet she couldn't shake the overwhelming tension from somewhere.

"Good morning," Dallia chirped, nonetheless. "Is Mr Lee out fishing?"

Her smile faded as Mrs Lee stayed silent. What could have possibly happened to him? He was here just last night.

"My father was called back to the castle this morning," Hyunjae spoke up, looking at the girl cluelessly. "We aren't quite sure why, though."

"Oh," she replied simply, looking at the boys mother who looked somewhat lost without him. "I'm sure he will be alright. Spring is approaching, maybe they had to discuss some travelling arrangements."

Mrs Lee nodded, sucking in a deep breath as she gave the girl a smile. This was not her fault, she knew that much. "Well, let's get you fed, princess."

"Thank you," Dallia said with a light chuckle, taking a seat across from Hyunjae. "Areum is still asleep."

The mother and son chuckled as they fixed the kitchen for the breakfast ahead, leaving Dallia to sit like a spare part whilst she watched them.

"Is there anything I can do to help?" She asked, furrowing her eyebrows. She didn't want to feel as though she was to be served on this trip.

"What a helpful soul," Mrs Lee chuckled with her back still turned to the girl. She had no idea. "Maybe tonight you can help me prepare the dinner, but for now - just sit there and look pretty."

"At this time in the morning?" Dallia joked, watching as Hyunjae turned to look at her whilst his mother remained busy.

His eyes travelled over her face, her cheeks puffy and nose red, her hair tangled upon her shoulder. He nodded slowly, checking her out obviously which made the girl chuckle.

"Pretty good," he mouthed to the girl, connecting his thumb and index finger as he wriggled his eyebrows, making her stifle  another laugh as he turned around quickly to continue helping his mother.

The princess watched the two as her eyes wandered around the boys figure, his broad shoulders hunched over as he reached his mother's height.

She found herself with her eyes fixated on him, purely because now she could. She seized the opportunity.

She couldn't help but wonder if this is what her life could have been like had she not been born into the establishment.

Watching him cook her meals as she waited, not to be served as a princess but as a woman who had let her man cook for once as a treat.

Chuckling at his jokes as he pranced around the place, trying to distract her from the chaotic mess that was being cooked up on her stoves.

"Yah!" The girl was yanked from her thoughts as her sisters hands placed themselves firmly on her shoulders, her heart beating harshly in her chest from the fright.
