Winter was here and the princess had went into her own mode of hibernation, as did most of the castle.

The wedding planning was sickening to her, her stomach churning at the mere thought of the day being less than half a year away.

"Isn't it too cold to be down here?" Dallia shuddered, glancing around at the forest which was now growing darker.

The one night her sister had convinced her to sneak out was the one night she needed it the most.

Tensions were high in the only walls she had ever known.

Her father began to grow curious about his daughters dismay, her furrowing eyebrows at the mention of the prince.

He needn't question it further. Deep down, he knew this wasn't ideal or in line with her own plan for life, but in reality - it would work out just fine for her, and for him.

"I need to see him," Areum muttered, bopping up and down in anticipation. "I miss him, Dallia."

"I know you do," she chuckled, her eyes narrowing at the figure approaching. "Here he is."

With a sequel and a run, the younger princess ran into the boys arm, the two falling to the damp ground in a frenzy. It was adorable, the princess could admit that much.

"Hello, Dallia," Changmin chuckled from the ground, her younger sister lying beside him holding him tightly. "How are you?"

"I'm great, thank you," Dallia smiled, leaning against a nearby tree as she watched the two in love.

She watched as the two quietly giggled and held each other on the ground, the odd chuckle escaping her lips as she looked on.

Love was a weird thing, but Dallia knew that's what she saw before her.

Her sisters eyes lit up whenever the boy was near in a way she had never seen before. A childlike wonder which she resonated with, for she too had looked at someone in the same way.

Someone whom she hadn't seen for too long.

Hyunjae and his family were relatively quiet at the moment, the work they had in the winter usually always plummeted. It was hard for the royals to travel anywhere in the winter, but Dallia knew why they didn't travel.

The harsh weather conditions meant the villagers would suffer even more so, and as much as Dallia didn't want to see them too - she knew she had to.

Something had to motivate her to do more, and that's why she found herself out here on this cold night.

Besides the fact that she had avoided going anywhere with Hyunjae for a few weeks now. Part of her couldn't face him, she knew all she would think about was the wedding, and she didn't want him to feel the same.

"Dallia?" Her sister called, making the girl stand up straighter than she was before. "Changmin's family say we can sit by their fire tonight."

"Sure," the princess let out a small sigh with a smile. "Is that alright, though?"
