The dreaded day had finally arrived. The day where the boy and the princess would have to face their reality and head back home.

Dallia took one last look at their cottage, sucking in a deep breath when the realisation hit her that she would most likely never see it again, at least not with him by her side.

"Are you ready?" Hyunjae asked the girl as he approached her, taking the bag she carried from her hand.

"No," she shook her head, a pout forming on her lips as the boy looked on. He could see the sadness in her eyes, and that of course hurt him more than anything. "It is just so beautiful here."

"It really is," the boy nodded, smiling at the girl although she looked elsewhere. Anywhere was beautiful when she was there. "Your sister is waiting, though."

The princess sighed deeply, turning to nod at the boy before smiling at him.

Memories they shared here in their short two weeks flooded to mind for the both of them. Their outings in the middle of the night, their whispered "I love you"'s under the moonlight where no one could find them.

The memories that one day would be a blur, the boy knew that to be true. But when the girl glanced up at him with a smile that he had fallen in love with, he knew the blur would be better than the loss.

"Leaving so soon?" A voice called from behind them, the two turning to look at the prince who stood leaning against the wooden fence.

"Well, yes, we have to," Dallia answered as Hyunjae simply watched. His eyes narrowed at the boy. "But it was lovely to meet you."

"Liar," the boy beside her mumbled, watching as the prince only edged closer.

"It was an honour to meet you," Younghoon said charmingly, offering his hand which the girl took out of kindness and courtesy, not necessarily because she wanted to. "A blessing, even. Particularly for the eyes."

The girl held back her wince as the boy bowed, kissing her hand gently which made her skin crawl.

His lips weren't Hyunjae's, and he simply wasn't him. "Well, we'll be on our way now."

"I am devastated," the prince poured ever so slightly, causing the coachman to growl from beside her. "Goodbye. Hopefully we will meet again."

"Sure," Dallia faked a smile, following Hyunjae who had already began to walk away. "Wait for me."

"I really had to bite my tongue there," the brunette mumbled, stopping until the girl caught up to him. "He is so obnoxious."
