"Sit still for once!"

"Have you just given the princess an order?" Dallia asked, her mouth agape as she mockingly looked offended.

"I did," Hyunjae stuck out his tongue, smiling at the sight before him. "And if you don't listen the first time, I'll continue to give orders."

"You are brave," she huffed, turning her nose up as the boy laughed at her, turning around to the way she had sat before, her eyes wandering around the field. "My side profile mustn't be pretty from where you are sitting."

"Hmm," he shrugged, watching as the princess turned around with her mouth wide open. "It's much more beautiful than you think."

The girls cheeks flushed, turning around again as she shook her head, muttering to herself. "Stop that, Hyunjae."

"I'll stop when you stop talking down about yourself," he nodded, looking back down at the paper balancing on his knees. "You're the most beautiful thing I've ever seen."

He watches as her back folds over, clutching her stomach as she grimaced. "Cringing hurts my tummy."

"Then stop cringing," Hyunjae added casually, receiving a glare from her. "It hurts my heart when you cringe at my nice words."

"Don't be expecting a kiss," she smirked, turning away again as it was now his time to gasp.

They hadn't spoken much of the matter, both of them fairly content with what had happened, feeling secure knowing that it would most likely happen again. Neither of them could wait, but for each other, they would.

Truthfully, kissing and cuddling wasn't what the two needed to feel close, to feel any stronger than they did.

"Are you excited for Tuesday?" He asked the girl, her face falling and draining of colour. How did he know about Tuesday?

"Huh?" Dallia hummed, looking over at the boy who chuckled under his breath.

"To choose your dress," the boy found himself almost smiling at the thought, before realisation hit that it wouldn't be him who would have the pleasure of seeing her walk towards him in it. "Isn't that exciting?"

The princess blinked harshly, swallowing the slight lump in her throat. "How did you know?"

"Your father asked me to escort you both," Hyunjae said with a sad smile, still sketching away as he looked at her.

"I don't know why I must pick so soon," she sighed, poking at the grass. "The wedding won't be for another year or so."

"That far away?" The boy almost perked up, the thought of having her all to himself for that long was enough to make him happy, at least temporarily.

"Yes," Dallia said, unable to look at the boy. "I hope so, at least."

"Me too," he muttered, his hand still gliding along the paper, just more lazily now. It was hard to think about. "We best make the most of it."
