“Alright guys today is an important day! We only have two weeks left of the course so that means a lot of practicing your new found skills. As you all know there is going to be a little ceremony at the beginning of August and I want you all to make sure you let your families know!” Summer drawls on as everyone including me pretends to listen to her give her weekly spiel. It was at this point in time that I was kind of regretting sending that very convincing email to Summer, pleading with her to let Ashter and I back in. I mean she ended up telling me she was going to tell us we were required to come back anyway, so I guess it was all for nothing. I feel a nudge on my shoulder and I look at the guy next to me before taking note of where his finger is pointing. I look in the direction of the guys finger to see Ashter making a stupid face. I let out a snort causing everyone to look at me.

“Sorry I had a tickle on my nose.” I quickly say trying to get the attention off me. When everyone in the room goes back to listening to Summer I send a glare Ashters way and he simply ignores my anger as he points towards his phone. I get the message and pick up my phone to see a text message from him. I let out a silent gasp as I saw the picture he sent to me of Summer with an edited tattoo and mustache.

Me: Why did you do this? You know the woman has OCD. She’d die if she saw this.

I look up at Ashter waiting for him to see my reply and I see a smile take over his face before he looks up at me. I give him a scolding glare and I know he takes it like the joke it is because he sends another text making my phone buzz.

Ashhole: I think it rather compliments her. I think I'll show it to her as a suggestion.

I use my hands to cover my mouth not wanting the laughter that was bubbling on the surface to be released.

Me: Stop texting me you little rebel. You’re gonna make the woman scare me if I ruin her speech with another outburst.

A couple seconds after I send it, a loud laugh comes from across the room and I look up in shock to see Ashter bent over laughing. Summer stops again but this time her attention is on Ashter.

“Was something I said funny Mr. Storm?” Summer asks her eye twitching like it does when she’s getting irked.  Ashter manages to calm down wiping away a tear that managed to escape through his laughing fit.

“Oh I’m sorry did no one else get the joke?” He asks and everyone looks at him with confused faces.

“Me talking about being a positive influence in other people's lives once you guys leave is funny?” Summer asks Ashter her high pitched voice getting higher by the second. I feel my face scrunch up as the uneasiness that appears every time Summer starts to go off the deep end spreads through my veins.

“Well yeah because when we think about it we were all very crappy people when we got here and now we all know how to manage to be nice. I just think that's hilarious. I mean Todd over here used to throw things at people when they looked at him.” Everyone in the room starts to chuckle believing Ashters lie. I feel a snort leave my mouth once again and shake my head in disbelief as he manages to cover for himself.

“And I mean look at Jamie. All she had to do was look at people and they’d run away.”  We all look at Jamie's Direction while he says this and she gives the exact glare he's talking about making us avert our eyes.. “Okay so maybe she hasn't changed so much but you know what I'm getting at right?”  Everyone then watches Summers' reaction to see if she calms down and we all release a breath of relief as a small smile forms on her face.

“Oh yes yes I get it now very good observation Ashter. Speaking of being better people today's activity is practicing scenarios in choosing the correct way to respond.” Summer says getting an audible groan from everyone in the room.
