"Isn't this exciting?!" I say eagerly the happy, cheerful environment around me making me feel at home. I feel my body relaxing as I take in all the water rides, a sense of peace washing over my body. Sometimes I believe that I was meant to be a mermaid. I know everyone says this, but for some reason me and water just understand each other. When I was little I had went to the pool with my parents , and I had went to the deep end, then without thinking I just jumped in. Instead of drowning like everyone thought had just happened, I came back to the surface giggling. I then just started splashing around in the water without a care in the world. So I'm convinced that my parents stole me from a mermaid, and I'm being lied to. I'm suddenly pulled out of my mermaid filled thoughts when I hear a certain someone let out a disinterested sigh. I feel my face turn into a scowl while I turn my head in Ashter's direction, mad that he just ruined my suspicious childhood thoughts.
"Stop being so grouchy and get over it. It's not like I'm gonna let you leave, we already paid." I say a sly smirk on my face.
"Yeah only because you told some buff guy to hold onto my arm so I couldn't escape while you paid for these stupid wristbands." Ashter says while showing off his bright pink wristband.
"Oh stop being so moody, I don't wanna be all mean again to convince you otherwise. You know you're scared of me." I say jokingly, as I turn towards the map stand. I'm about to grab a map when I hear Ashter mumble under his breath. I'm about to ask him what he said before I hear what he says next.
"I'm not scared of you, I'm scared of your body." I suddenly feel my cheeks flush, hearing what Ashter just said making fire spread through my body. I shake my head clearing those thoughts. That boy will not affect me like that. I won't allow it. I turn back towards Ashter the map open in my hands, my eyes scanning around the cartoon drawn map.
"Where is it?" I say frustratedly my eyes scanning all over the map for the lockers, where we can put our bags.
"What ya lookin for." I suddenly hear a deep voice say from my behind me. I practically jump out of my skin, and glance over my shoulder to see Ashter smirking at me obviously realizing my shocked expression. I roll my eyes before turning back to the map continuing my search.
"I'm looking for the stupid lockers, but I cant seem to find them on this detailed map." I say now getting irritated.
"Are the lockers by any chance blue?" I hear Ashter ask.
"Yeah do you see them on here." I ask him my eyes not leaving the paper. I feel Ashter poke my shoulder, I'm about to tell him to knock it off, before I see where he's pointing. I look in the direction, and my eyes widen when I see the STUPID lockers right in front of us. How did I not see them? I let out a growl, stomping over to the lockers, Ashter's laugh trailing behind me. The scowl stays on my face as I open one of the non occupied lockers, shoving my stuff in except my book, map and towel. I then walk away as I leave Ashter to put his stuff away and lock the locker.
"You better remember No. 34 cause I sure wont. " Ashter says while he slips on his sunglasses , walking past me. I give him my best stink face before getting the map back out. I rush to catch up to Ashter, making sure he doesn't try any funny business.
So I was thinking we can go on some of my favorite rides, so you can get a feel of the place, and then well do something that seems fun to you. Hows that sound? I say my eyes feeling with excitement as I look at Ashter. I watch as Ashter pulls his sunglasses down his nose, as he eyes the teenage girls walking by laughing.
I dont know sweetheart I dont think youll enjoy what I wanna do. I mean unless you swing that way, and youre into girls. Ashter says as he winks at a girl walking by making her blush, and giggle. I forcefully punch him in the arm, before dragging him towards the lounging chairs, my head shaking back and forth like a disappointed moms.
