When (YN) was done fixing his gloves, he turned his attention to the group in front of him and was surprised at the stares they were giving him. "W-what?" he asked. Crossing his arms as he waited for an answer from them. Yet, he wasn't given one. Pursing his lips, (YN) felt uncomfortable with the stares he was getting but he didn't give any kind of comment and ignored it.
"Aether, Paimon," he called, "Let's go. I still have somewhere to go and something to do." Walking towards the door, Paimon and Aether snapped out of their staring and rushed towards (YN)'s side. The three had only walked outside of the door and were already outside of the cave. Aether turned towards (YN), "I used my powers and don't ask. I don't like when people ask me what kind of power I have." Aether nodded. Not wanting to be a bother towards (YN) anymore. After all, they did force (YN) to let him and Paimon join in this tiny adventure of his.
"What are you going to do at Bubu Pharmacy?" Paimon asked, flying a little bit higher to meet (YN)'s gaze. The small female slightly cursed at how tall (YN) is. Not even Zhongli was taller than him. And when she was flying around matching Aether's height, she would need to look up a lot more than usual. Her neck getting sore only a couple of minutes after looking up (YN). She curses tall people and their stupid height.
"Sell my medicine," (YN) said. Fishing out something in his pocket. Revealing it to be medium-sized bottles with liquid inside. The color of the liquid was blue yet the top part of it was a different color. One was red, the other two were yellow and the last one was green. Even when (YN) swirled the liquid inside, the colors never mixed one another.
Aether tilted his head, a bit confused. "Why are there only four of them?" he asked. Wondering how much these medicines would sell. And if it is even effective. But then again, (YN) was the one who made them. He doubts that the medicine that (YN) makes is ineffective. Especially with the thousands of years of experience, (YN) could practically cure any diseases there is.
"One of these costs more than a hundred thousand of mora, you know?" Cue Aether's and Paimon's eyes widening as wide it can get and their mouths falling down to the ground. The both of them stopped walking (floating forwards in Paimon's case). Their figures froze on the spot. Unable to process the information that (YN) had given them. "The medicine that I make are graded as one of the best medicine in Liyue and can cure multiple diseases with a spoonful or two a day," says (YN), "And if I by chance to mass-produce them and sell them, not many would need it anymore. So I have to sell it in small amounts and at high prices to not only make a living for myself but to keep the economy in Liyue stable." Aether and Paimon and agreed to (YN)'s statement.
To have such powerful medicine could easily raise an uproar in Liyue's business and would throw the balance off. Not to mention, many people would fake it and sell it to even higher prices. It would destroy Bubu's Pharmacy's reputation and (YN)'s also. Though they're not sure how much it would destroy their reputation, it seems plausible. "But why are there only four? Wouldn't a lot more people would be angry if there's limited stock?" Paimon asked, pondering why (YN) only has four instead of ten. Even if (YN) doesn't want to disrupt Liyue's economy with the medicine, shouldn't he have a little bit more stock to catch up on demand?
"There's still leftover stock back at Bubu Pharmacy so I only made four this month." Ah, to think there was such an easy reason for this. Paimon is a bit embarrassed to think that (YN) was doing something similar to that of a scammer. Probably, she shouldn't think of the man as such. She read all of those books together with Aether, Paimon doubts that (YN) could even do bad things out of his will.
After a while, they were over halfway towards Liyue. Stopping at their tracks when the three saw a horse carriage on the road with one of its wheels broken. The few people that were there were huddled up as they discussed what they were going to do. Aether and Paimon immediately went over to them, already used to do tasks for other people. "Hello!" Paimon greeted with a wave, "What happened?" the people glanced behind them and saw Aether and Paimon with (YN) just tailing behind.
"It's nothing much," a woman said. Her voice mellow and mother-like, features as gentle as her voice and alluring as a siren's. She looked akin to a goddess and Aether was sure that a hefty number of people are after her. "Our carriage wheel broke and we were just about to fix it," she said. Stepping a bit to the side to let Aether and Paimon see the broken wheel. The woman crouched down and put her right hand on the broken wheel. Murmuring words that Aether and Paimon weren't able to hear.
A green light appearing in her hand as glitter sprinkled over the broken wheel. Covering it almost immediately. The glitter swirled around the air before the bits of pieces of the broken wheel had suspended into the air. And in just a flash, the broken was now fixed. It looked brand new. "See?" The woman said as she rose her chin up, "Nothing like alchemy can fix it!" Aether and Paimon were in awe. They have seen many tricks and such with the use of alchemy but they have never seen it to be used in this way. To think alchemy can also fix broken things.
"It's not going to be held up for long." Hearing a voice from behind, Aether and Paimon looked behind them and saw (YN). "Just because you fixed it doesn't mean it's going to stay fixed forever," he said, "If you know alchemy then you should also know that once you fix a broken object then you should also reinforce it to prevent it from breaking again." (YN) snapped his fingers at his right hand. The carriage wheel glowing up in white light and that same white light disappeared like thin air. Almost as if the light was never there, to begin with.
"What are you talking about?" The woman huffed her cheeks and put her hands on her hips. "My skills in alchemy are the best in my family! And I don't need to do that reinforcement stuff!" she said arrogantly. Moving her gaze away from (YN). The people around her looked trouble and tried to calm her down. Apologizing to (YN) and even to Aether and Paimon.
"Guessing from your outfit... you must be from the Agape Family?" Aether and Paimon looked at her outfit and saw that it was made of a cloth that they were not familiar with. Her skirt reached to her feet, a blouse and its sleeves were almost bell-shaped, a kerchief on her shoulders, and another cloth worn over her skirt. Her hair was tied up into a high bun. The pendant on her necklace shone brightly and was glittering under the bright sun. A very familiar pendant, really.
"AH! The pendant is the same on (YN)'s cape!" Paimon shouted. Aether looked at the jewel on (YN)'s cape and saw that it was the same.
The women hummed and stared at (YN)'s jewel. "That's the real thing..." she muttered under her breath, disbelief evident in her voice. The people around them were also dumbfounded and cowered behind the woman. The woman glared at the people hiding behind her but said nothing. Clearing her throat, "Looks I was a bit ride earlier. I am Rosamie Agape. One of the descendants of the Agape family. I apologize for not noticing that you were one of the blessed people of the Twin Gods."
