God of Alchemy | Genshin Impact x M!Reader

Zhongli blew the steam that was emitted from his tea. After blowing, he took a sip. But it was too hot, his tongue burning from the contact of the steaming liquid. Though he didn't care and just put the cup down from his lips to the table. His eyes staring at the man in front of him. He was tall and handsome to put it simply.

Bedazzling (EC) eyes that you won't ever forget and his (HC) hair tousled in all directions. As if he had just woken up. Which was true. The male in front of him had just indeed woke up. Zhongli doesn't know if it's because the male was up all night working on something or he had just slept in. Regardless, he doesn't question it. After all, how can he? The man in front of him is much powerful than him. If even Zhongli had his gnosis back from the ice archon, Zhongli wouldn't be able to defeat the man with his full power.

He's not the God of Alchemy for nothing.

Even his spears and meteors can be transformed into ashes in mere seconds. Zhongli can't help but fear the man. If there were any other men that know how to deal with the current mess then this man could easily figure it out.

"I don't know anything that you're talking about, Zhon'er... " The male said. 

Zhongli can't help but raise an eyebrow in confusion. "Then are you saying that those are not your creations, Kojutsu[1]?" he can't help but ask back. 

The former can't help but sigh, "How many times do I have to tell you to not call me that anymore? It's (YN) now! (Y)-(N)," said male clarified. A bit annoyed that he's being called by his old name which he doesn't mind. But the way Zhongli uses is it, he can't help but feel he's interrogating his subordinates for answers.

"I'm sorry, (YN)..." Zhongli apologized "But my question still stands; was you not the one who made those creatures?" (YN) shrugged. Downing all of his tea in one big gulp before he put the cup down. His hand releasing the cup before moving to the second one that was placed one that had just been emptied by him. 

It was also full of tea but it's probably cooled down by now since (YN) had not touched this cup since the start of the conversation which was almost ten minutes ago. "I don't deal with life, Zhongli,"  he said "And whether those monsters are reanimated corpses or not --- I never deal with life the same I deal with death. Besides it's not in my jurisdiction to give life or not." Zhongli can't help but agree with that.

(YN) maybe the God of Alchemy but never did he deal with life like a toy just as he did with corpses. Truthfully even if a corpse was at (YN)'s hold, the man would never reanimate the dead. (YN) isn't like him. Dealing with life as if it was a plaything yet he was loved by almost all of the gods and goddesses. Perchance it was because he was never the one to make a problem amongst others. Even with the power to fully resurrect the dead, he never had the chance to do it. Saying life is too fragile and resurrecting someone is either too hard or too horrible to do someone.

Zhongli can't help but sigh at this. The monsters out there are too difficult for the Millelith to handle and adventures with visions are also having trouble killing it. "This might be a trouble to ask of you this, (YN)... But, perhaps, do you know any way to kill it?" Zhongli asked. (YN) hummed, raising the second cup of tea near to his mouth. Closing his eyes as he tried to think of it away. (YN) doesn't really know how to deal with them considering that he,  himself, had never heard of it.

 "A sample," (YN) started. Startling Zhongli a bit with his words. "Give me a sample of those monsters you speak of then I'll be able to provide you with answers..." (YN) finished. Downing the whole second cup of tea with one big gulp.

[1] Kojutsu - 皇術. The first character means emperor (if you use google translate, it will mean Sumeragi but it's pronounced as Ko when you try to listen to how it pronounce it). While the second means either one of these: art, technique, means, way, trick, trap, plot, stratagem, magic. I got all of these meanings from a site called jisho.org
