Inuyasha and Kagome

Chapter 3

I felt as if I needed to scream but the sound couldn't escape my throat. I stood there staring at Naraku smiling the devilishly smile holding with his tentacles buy the throat a boy.

"Sota?" I whispered.

"Surprised to see him?"

"But.. But.." I couldn't seem to speak. All I wanted to do was rip off his throat. I wanted to kill him. He was holding my life by his neck.

"LET HIM GO HE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS!" I screamed. I was about to pull out my bow when he said.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you. I can kill him just by squeezing lightly." Naraku started to squeeze and Sota gave an ear splitting scream.

"STOP STOP PLEASE DONT HURT HIM!" I yelled I was in tears and even with Inuyasha's hearing. I knew he couldn't hear me.

"Drop your weapons and the boy lives." He gave a smirk and I knew I was gonna die.

I threw my bow on the ground. His tentacle grabbed the bow and snapped it in half. Naraku dropped Sota on the ground. I ran over to him.

With tears streaming down my face I pulled his head onto my lap. "Sota? SOTA! Are you alright? SPEAK TO ME!" A tear dripped down my cheek and fell to his forehead. Just then Sota's body dissolved.

"What!?" I frantically searched around my body for any sign of Sota all I found was a wooden doll wrapped with a small black hair.

"A demon puppet." I whispered.

"INUYASHA!!" I screamed as loud as I could.

Naraku's tentacles started so slither towards me. I stood up and turned around, but as I did so he stabbed right through my stomach.

"Ah. Uh."

'I'm dead. I know it. Naraku killed me.'

(Inuyasha's POV)
"INUYASHA!!"

"KAGOME!" I jumped up and grabbed my Tetsusaiga and ran in the direction of Kagome's voice.

'Naraku, he has Kagome!' I ran faster than I've ever ran before. Once I arrived I saw Naraku's tentacle through her stomach. I jumped up and cut off the tentacle that had gone through her body.It shriveled up and she fell to the ground.

"Kagome!"

She didn't move.

I turned back to Naraku.

"Its to late Inuyasha. She's dead."

Dead.

'No she can't be dead. Dead. No no NO! It's all my fault I should of gone with her.'

Dead. I felt as if my legs were gonna give way at any second. Time seemed to slow down, I couldn't move. Dead. That word made me feel like I was gonna throw up. Kagome is dead. My eyes started to tear up. I have to kill Naraku now or he will see my weakness. No I have to kill him now or else my body is gonna give way.

"WINDSCAR!!"

Naraku's body exploded and all that was left was a wooden doll with hair wrapped around it. Demon puppet.

I dropped my Tetsusaiga and fell to my hands and knees. I crawled over to Kagome's body and pulled her head into my lap.

"Kagome." I whispered. Tears started to fall like crazy.

Miroku, Sango, Shippo, and Kirara ran over to see what the commotion was.

"Kagome!" Shippo screamed she fell onto Kirara and cried onto her shoulder.

Sango grabbed Miroku's hand and pulled herself close to his chest.

"KAGOME!!" I yelled and put my forehead on hers.

"Inuyasha?" She whispered weakly.

My head shot up. "Kagome!"

"Inuyasha.."

"Hang in there Kagome! Your gonna be okay!"

I picked her up bridal style and ran towards the well.

'Hold on please hold on' I jumped into the well. Once we were through I jumped out and almost ran over her Grandfather. I ran to the hospital. I wasn't sure where it was so I took an extra 5 seconds. I ran through the door.

"HELP SOMEONE HELP!"

These men with blue shirts and white masks came over with a bed on wheels. I put her on the bed and they rolled her away.

I stood there and watched as the took Kagome through a pair of doors and I had this feeling inside that I didn't want to feel.
