Before the battle between Naraku and Inuyasha.
(Inuyasha's POV)
"Okay, when I say clear you can follow me in. But you need to stay out here for now." I said and took a few steps toward the dark cave.
"But Inuyasha-" Miroku started.
"No. You all need to stay here until I say. Got it." I snarled and ran into the cave.
I ran my hand over the wall of the cave to make sure I didn't run into it because it was so dark. My feet slapped the cold floor as I nervously continued down the long tunnel. I occasionally took long sniffs and Naraku's scent got stronger and stronger each time.
I really hope Kagome is okay, if Naraku lays a finger on her I will rip his throat.
"Inuyasha should be here at any moment." I heard an old woman chuckle.
"Good." A cold familiar voice whispered. I ran a little faster and my hand bounced on the rough wall.
"Naraku." I growled.
I soon saw a light at the end of the tunnel that flickered like a fire. I could hear voices muttering things but couldn't quite hear what they were saying. One was a female voice that sounded old a frail. The other was a cold male voice that seemed like it could cut through titanium.
The male voice I figured was Naraku because it sounded just like him. The female I wasn't quite sure of but I would soon find out as I approached the opening.
I squinted my eyes from the bright light because I was so used to the dark. Once my eyes adjusted I saw a large cold room that had torches on the stone walls and shelves on the back wall that looked like they were stocked with potions and body parts in jars.
There was a small dark room next to the shelves but I couldn't see what was in it.
There was a small table in front of it that was scattered with herbs and a large black cauldron towered in the middle.
There was a small bed in the corner and a fire place next to it. The fire seemed to be heating the room but it really had no effect on the freezing temperatures.
It looked like an average home minus the potions and body parts that made a shiver run down my spine.
On the bed was an old woman that had hundreds of beads hanging around her neck. Her grey hair was pulled back into a ponytail showing off her large golden earrings that made her earlobes sag.
Next to the fire sat.. Naraku. He was in his usual blue and black outfit sitting with his legs tucked under him. Kikyo was sitting next to him with her head laying on his shoulder.
"Oh Inuyasha," he smirked "how nice of you to finally join us." He stood up a and walked to the middle of the room. Leaving Kikyo glaring at me next to the fire.
"Where's Kagome." I said sternly and balled up my fists.
"Oh her?" He chuckled. "I'm sure you'll be seeing her sometime soon."
"I want to see her NOW!" I demanded. Naraku's eyes widened a little before going back to his usual evil face. "I swear Naraku if you hurt her I-"
"You'll do what, Inuyasha?" He said and an evil grin spread on his face.
I gridded my teeth and glared at him. I've never been so angry in my life. My knuckles turned white from clenching my fist so hard.
"Just what I thought. All talk but no action, typical." He turned to the witch who was still sitting on her bed. "Hinata, why don't we show our guest what we can do." I drew my sword quickly and stood in a defensive stance.
