Inuyasha and Kagome

Chapter 7

Me and Inuyasha sat by the lake for a long time. The sun started to come up and I was getting droopy.

"Inuyasha, don't you think we should go back to the hut?" I looked up to Inuyasha. He seemed like he was about to fall asleep also. He frowned.

"I suppose." He stood up and grabbed my hand to help me up. We walked to the hut and I laid down next to Shippo. I scooted underneath the blankets. Inuyasha came and sat next to me.

"Good night Kagome."

I smiled to myself "Good night."

Once I woke up everyone else was a wake besides Inuyasha. Sango looked over to me.

"It's about time. The sun is high in the sky you two slept over half the day away!" I quickly glanced over to Inuyasha. She must of saw that. "Aw I see. Okay, why don't you wake him up and we'll get your stuff together and wait outside. Right Miroku?" She elbowed Miroku.

"Uh yes, yes we will. Shippo? Kirara?" They started to walk out the door. Before Sango shut the door she gave me a thumbs up and quickly shut the door. I gave a small chuckle. I looked over to Inuyasha. 'He's so cute when he's sleeping!' I crawled over to him and gave him a slight nudge with my shoulder.

"Inuyasha?" I nudged him again. "Inuyasha." His eyes slowly opened. He looked over to me and gave a tired smile. He had dark purple bags under his eyes. I felt bad for keeping him up.

"Hey Kagome." He yawned and stretches his arms out. "How did you sleep? Do you want me to carry you?" He must of noticed my dark bags also. I smiled and shook my head. "Are you sure? You look more tired then I feel." I gave a small giggle. I did feel tired but I can survive.

"I'm okay. Are you ready to go? They are all waiting for us." I said. Inuyasha leaned over and gave me a quick kiss on the cheek.

"Only when you are." I smiled and we stood up together. Inuyasha walked over to the door and opened it. "Ladies first." He said. He bowed and gestured his hand towards the door. I blushed a little and walked out. Sango stood at the bottom of the steps with her hands over her mouth.

"Aw.." She said she walked over to me and hugged me before I got off the stairs. I whispered in her ear.

"Your turn." She turned a shade of light pink and released me. "Come on Sango." Sango stopped if her tracks to see Miroku flirting with the women.

"Would you consider bearing my child?" Sango looked irritated. She walked over to the monk and grabbed his ear. "Ah ow! Sango!" Sango started walking out of the village while pulling Miroku's ear.

"Let's go Kagome!" She shouted over her shoulder. I gave a slight giggle and looked over to Inuyasha. He smiled and grabbed my hand. 'I thought this day would never come.' I thought. He gave my hand a small squeeze and we started walking. Once we caught up to the others they looked at us. Which made me and Inuyasha blush. "Aw. That's cute." Sango smiled and winked. I jerked my head towards Miroku. She stopped smiling and turned away.

"I knew this was gonna happen!" Shippo yelled. He was riding on Kirara's back.

"Shut up Shippo." Inuyasha yelled.

"Don't be a hot head. I told you so. You just have a thick skull." Shippo jumped onto Inuyasha's shoulder and knocked on his head.

"Hey! That's it! Get over here you little brat!" Inuyasha let go of my hand and started chasing Shippo around. When he let go I was kinda surprised. My hand felt cold, but I have to say seeing him chase Shippo was kinda cute. Shippo jumped on my back.

"Save me Kagome!" Shippo whined and hid in my hair. I looked at Inuyasha and stared at him a bit.

"Fine, fine. But he started it!" He walked over and grabbed my hand. "God Kagome your hand is freezing." I blushed. His hand in mine felt a lot more natural then being by myself. Shippo stocked his tongue out at Inuyasha.
