(Inuyasha's POV)

I'm still sitting by Kagome's body. It's been three days since Kikyo came and "Saved" her. The only sign of life is her small breaths every so often, but I'll take it. Anything to give me hope that she can get through this, that I can get through this.

There was one moment where we all thought she was gonna wake up. She took a deep breath we all leaned foward hoping to see those beautiful brown eyes, but disappointed when she relaxed again. As I said before I haven't left her side, slept, or eaten.

"Inuyasha?" Shippo said. "Don't you think you should tell her family that you know she's-"

"Alive." I said cutting him off. I suppose I should get her out of this bloody shirt. I sighed and picked her up.

"Uh, you can leave her here you know?" I shook my head and walked towards the bone crushers well. I looked down at her bruised faced. I bet she also has some cracked ribs. I jumped out of the well once I reached her time. I walked out of the shrine and Ms.Higurashi was sitting outside staring blankly at nothing. I walked over to her.

"Ms.Higurashi?" She didn't react. "Ms.Higurashi, I have your daughter." She snapped her head at me and stood up. She brushed Kagome's hair out of her face.

"My baby." She said. "Why did I ever let this happen? Is she-dead?" She seemed to flinch at what she had just said.

I shook my head and her eyes lit up.

"Really!? But how?!" She gestured for me to follow her inside.

"A woman named Kikyo saved her." I said as I walked through the door. "She used her spiritual powers to bring her back."

We walked up to her room and I laid her on the bed.

"Do you mind getting her ready while I start a bath?" I shook my head.

"No not at all." She left the room and shut the door quietly as if trying not to wake her. I got her undressed and looked at her wounds. She was stabbed in her stomach, she had a few broken ribs and cuts and bruises everywhere. I wrapped her up in a bathrobe and brought her to the tub. I shut the door and placed her in the water. I gently rubbed away the blood, dirt, and sweat. Once I finished I drained the tub and dried her body. I brought her into her room and Ms.Higurashi had laid out this beautiful purple dress. It was laced, short sleeved, and it was about knee length. It was tight at the top and at the bottom is was loose and flowed in the breeze.

I put the dress on her and called Ms,Higuarshi to do the rest. She shooed me out of the room and shut the door quieter then she had before. Sota was standing in the hallway. He looked like he hadn't slept at all, his hair was a mess, and his eyes were filled with sadness.

"Is my sister in there?" I nodded. "Is she still-dead?"

I crouched down to about his eye level. "No your sister is going to be fine."

He gave a half smile and walked into his room and shut the door. Not long after Ms.Higurashi came out.

"Come look at her." She moved to the side and I stepped into the room. Kagome was laying on the bed. Her hair perfectly laid on her shoulders, her face was no longer pale but a tint of red. Her dress seemed to fight her shape perfectly. She was breathtaking.

"She's-" I choked up. "She's beautiful." Ms. Higurashi hugged me and quickly let go.

"I think it'll be better if Kagome stays home from now on." She said sadly.

"What?" I couldn't believe it, she was going to take my life away.

"Yes Inuyasha, ever since she's been over there in your time she's been getting hurt. I don't want to be mean or anything, I'm just making a suggestion." I nodded my head. She was right. Kagome always got hurt. If I ever lost her I don't know if I would be able to live with myself.
