Inuyasha and Kagome

Chapter 6

(Sango's POV)
In the morning Kagome was awake before everyone. She was moving around and making everyone food. I was the second one to wake up.

"Hey Kagome, how you feeling?" I said. She looked over to me and smiled.

"I'm feeling better then I ever have before! I don't know what's gotten into me!" She said surprisingly very cheerful.

"Wow I haven't seen you this happy since you came back when you were stuck in your time for about a month!" She handed me a plate with eggs and fish.

"Eat up we got a long day ahead. Oh, and Sango after your done eating do you wanna go to the hot springs?" She grabbed a plate and started eating her eggs.

"Oh yea sure! That'll be great!" I started eating. Once finished I looked up to see Kagome laying out plates for everyone else. I looked over at Miroku sleeping. 'He looks so peaceful. I've liked him for a long time. I'm a fricken demon slayer! I fight powerful demons without hesitation yet I can't tell a monk how I feel?! Gosh what's wrong with me? Why do I feel this way?' Kagome snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Uhm Sango? Are you ready?" I looked up at her.

"Uh yea. Let's go." I got up and as we were walking away I took a quick glance at Miroku. Why do I feel this way? He's a perverted monk.

(Miroku's POV)

I woke up to Inuyasha talking in his sleep.

"Kagome. Wait." I gave him an odd look. 'What is he dreaming about?' I looked down to see a plate in front of me. I look back up to see Kagome and Sango gone. They must be okay if they had time to set up a plate for us. I ate the food and decided to go for a quick walk. As I was walking through the woods I heard laughter. It sounded like Kagome and Sango. 'They must be in the hot springs! Better check if they're okay.' I walked toward the springs and hid behind the bushes. 'Sango is so beautiful but if she saw me she'd hit me so hard I probably won't be eating for a while.' Just then they started talking.

"Okay okay let's be serious. So I saw you looking at Miroku this morning. Something you need to tell me, Sango?" Kagome said.

"Uh. Uhm. Nope not a thing." I looked over to see Sango's face to be bright red.

"Sango?"

"Fine, fine. I may have feelings for Miroku.." She said. She looked away and turned an even brighter shade of red. 'Feelings for me? After all those times of me being the pervert I am. Flirting with other women. She likes me?'

"OH MY GOD!! THATS SO CUTE! YOU NEED TO TELL HIM!" Kagome yelled.

"No, it's embarrassing. Besides he probably doesn't even like me.." She said in a very sad tone.

"Are you kidding!? Have you seen the looks he gives you? Besides he partially told me!" Kagome said. 'I told her?'

"He did? When?" Sango looked back over to Kagome.

"Remember when we were at that castle and the Prince asked you to marry him?" Kagome smiled a devious smile. 'Crap, I did tell her'

"Oh yea.." Sango smiled and blushed harder. "I think I'm gonna tell him." She stood up and grabbed the shampoo and conditioner and sat back down. 'Yes! Finally! I couldn't be happier!' As soon as I stood up to leave I ran into Inuyasha.

"So decided to have a quick peek hmm?" He said he glared at me.

Kagome screamed. "INUYASHA YOU PERVERT!! SIT!!"

He faced planted into the ground and ate dirt and grass. I crawled over him.

"Sorry Inuyasha catch you later." I said as I crawled away.
