Her scent had leaded me to a burnt down house.

"Oh God! No! No! KAGOME!" I started throwing around boards. I found a burnt body. The lump in my throat grew larger. I wanted to scream but my throat wouldn't let me. I fell to my knees and felt my eyes start watering.

"Mister?" I looked over to see a little girl staring at me with big blue eyes.

"What." I managed to say through the lump.

"Are you looking for that girl with the bow?" I shot my head up and ran to the girl. I crouched down to her eye level.

"Yes! Yes! Have you seen her?" I wanted to shake the answer out of the girl but kept my hands on the ground to keep my balance. I felt as if my body was gonna give way.

"Yes a man carried her to the woods. She was bleeding pretty badly. She saved me, if she dies I don't know how I would be able to live with my self."

"What did he look like?"

"He had black hair pulled into a ponytail. He was wearing brown fur and he had a tail."

"That wimpy wolf." I stood up, staring towards the woods.

"Excuse me? If you find her, will you tell her thank you for me?"

"Yea sure." I ran towards the woods. Almost instantly I found Kagome's and Koga's scent. He really needs to take a bath. I ran faster. Once I was at the edge of the woods I stopped and looked around. When I saw Koga. He was picking up sticks. I jumped on him and pinned him the the ground.

"WHAT THE HELL?!" He shouted once he saw me.

"Where's Kagome?" I glared at him.

"Oh yea, I can't believe you let her get hurt! What kind of monster let's Kagome get hurt?!" He shouted up to my face. I growled at him. "Get off me and I'll show you mut." I jumped off him. He brushed himself off and picked up his sticks. "This way." He started walking. Reluctantly I followed. Once we arrived there was a fire and Kagome laying on the ground. There was blood all over her shirt. I ran over to her side and put her head in my lap.

"Kagome!" I looked over to the wolf. "What did you do to her!"

"What did I do!? I saved her life!"

I looked backed down at her. "Thank you" I growled through clenched teeth.

"Oh please, I didn't do it for you." He threw the sticks into the fire. Kagome started to squirm.

"Inuyasha?" She whispered.

"Yea I'm right here." She opened her eyes and smiled.

"I knew you would come." She smiled and closed her eyes again. I picked her up and put her on my back. She laid her head on my back. "Wait, Koga." I looked at her puzzled and walked over to Koga. She slid off my back and weakly walked over to Koga.

"Koga," She wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him. "Thank you." He wrapped his arms around her waist.

"Your welcome, Kagome." He looked up at me and smiled.

"Don't push it." I whispered just quiet enough so Kagome couldn't hear. After a few seconds she let go and Koga lifted her onto my back.

"Be careful Kagome." He said.

"Ugh." I said and ran off. Kagome laid her head back onto my back. Once we reached the group it was sun down and they had built a fire. I sat her next to Kirara and walked over to her bag and grabbed a blanket. I laid it on the ground and put her on it. She was awake. I made some quick soup and fed her slowly. Everyone was silent.
