(Kagome's POV)
As I climbed out of the cold damp well Inuyasha held his hand out to me, no matter how bad I wanted to take it I pushed past him and picked up a bag of food. I glanced at Inuyasha's hurt sad face as he picked up the other two bags and walked behind me.
The bag I was carrying was a little heavy so I stopped frequently to regrip.
"Kagome, here let me carry it." Inuyasha reached for the bag but I snapped it away.
"No I can handle it." I said and threw the bag over my shoulder.
"Kagome-" Inuyasha paused and sniffed the air.
"What is it?" I turned to him and he cringed his nose.
"It's that smelly wolf." He said through gritted teeth. Koga came running out of the woods at full speed and stopped in front of me.
"Kagome! Nice to see your beautiful face again." He glanced at the bag I was carrying. "Oh here let me take that for you. I suppose that lousy mutt doesn't have any manners." He grabbed the bag off my shoulder and glared at Inuyasha. I rolled my shoulder a bit and rubbed the sour muscle.
"What do you want, smelly!?" Inuyasha growled at him. Koga grabbed my hand and replied.
"Just wanted to see my beautiful wife after so long." He started walking gripping my hand. I gave Inuyasha a worried glance and sent him a "mind message."
"Help me." He growled and pushed in between Koga and I.
"Wife!? Excuse me but she's mine." I blushed slightly. He called me his, I smiled a bit but quickly faded when Koga looked at me with cold brown eyes that sent a shiver down my spine.
"Yours? Last time I checked you were a total jerk to her. What makes you think she's yours!?" Koga growled at Inuyasha. He dropped the bag where he was standing and slid around Inuyasha. Grabbing my waist and pulling me close to his side.
"How does this make you feel, Inuyasha?" He said mockingly. "You're just jealous that I got to Kagome first. She loves me, not you. So go back to that one priestess. Kikyo? Is that her name?"
Inuyasha never looked so angry. "Don't ever say her name! You are not worthy to say her name!" Not worthy to say her name? So he still does have feelings for Kikyo. I felt my heart sink and sadness overflow from my body. I'm not the only one he loves. I was shot out of my thoughts by Inuyasha grabbing my hand and pulling me out of Koga's grasp and wrapped his arm around my shoulder. "And don't ever touch Kagome again! You got that! She doesn't love you! We mated! She loves me and I love her! We're happy so stay out of it!"
"Not worthy to say her name? Whose, Kikyo's?" He smiled. "So you have feelings for her and Kagome, huh? Sounds like two timing if you ask me." Inuyasha's face was no longer hard and angry but ashamed.
"Oh, Inuyasha." Koga said, he actually sounded sorry for him. "It's okay, we all fall in love with a woman who doesn't love us. In this case she's in love with some one else and I happen to love her too." Inuyasha's face hardened once more and he grabbed my hand.
"Sorry smelly but we need to go. Got places to be and people to see, bye." He turned away from Koga's shocked face and picked up the three bags with his one free hand and holding mine from the other. He stomped away dragging me with him. I glanced at Koga and kindly waved good bye.
He smiled and ran off into the woods.
"Inuyasha." I said softly. He didn't respond but continued stomping towards the village. "Inuyasha!" I ripped my hand out of his. He spun around in his heels.
