So back to Inuyasha and the rest of the people. By the way there's a really sad part in this chapter, and if you get offended I'm sorry. You've been forewarned.
(Inuyasha's POV)
"Kagome." I whispered. She lifted her bow and arrow and aimed right in between my eyes. "KAGOME!" I shouted and turned to Naraku.
"What have you done to her?!" Tears brimmed in my eyes as Naraku laughed.
"I didn't do much, it was all mainly because of her love for you." He laughed more viciously as he floated to the ground.
"What are you talking about!" I growled as I slowly stood up so Kagome wouldn't shoot at me.
"She loved you so much that it drove her crazy. I went into her mind and gave her vivid dreams of killing you. She was so upset, she left. That's when I stepped in and snatched her while you weren't there." He walked over and stood next to Kagome. "but you don't mind, do you Inuyasha? Because she's just your back up plan. You always have Kikyo, just don't get on her nerves and you won't be alone."
"She's not my back up plan, I love her! I hate Kikyo, that excuse for a woman!" I took a step forward to attack Naraku but Kagome drew the arrow farther back threateningly.
"Oh please, if Kikyo was here right now you'd be all over her." He smirked.
"Actually you interrupted something very important, Naraku." He cocked his head slightly. "I was actually about to kill her before Miroku called me over here."
His eyes widened a bit. "What's the matter Naraku, do you have feelings for Kikyo?"
He did not respond to my comment. For some odd reason I felt jealous of him and Kikyo, but I despise both of them. Not because I had feelings for Kikyo, but they were able to be together with out having one of them abducted. Kagome and I on the other hand will probably never be able to be together as long as they are alive.
Naraku took out his small container of his bugs and about ten of them flew out. "Go find Kikyo and bring her here." He commanded. They buzzed away in search for her body.
"Why don't you go get her yourself." I smirked, Kagome was still staring blankly at me with her arrow raised.
"Silence!" He snapped. "You're lucky I haven't killed you yet! I could do it any second so enjoy your last moments and shut up!"
I suppose he was right, with just two simple words I could be dead. But why hadn't he killed me? Was he trying to be kind, or was he was afraid to kill me? Neither of those solutions could be correct. Naraku wasn't kind of fearful.
I glance up at him, his face read anticipation and nervousness all over it. Like how my face was when Kagome was in the hospital. Did he really love Kikyo that much or was that his human heart seeping through?
The bugs came back caring Kikyo. She was alive but barely. They set her down on the ground next to Naraku. He got down on his knees and stroked her face with the back of his hand. He was whispering something but I couldn't understand.
"Take her back to the cave." He stood up and the bugs flew off once more. "How could you do that, Inuyasha. And to Kikyo out of all people, an innocent woman!"
"She's was not innocent!"
"You two were in love and the bestest friends." He continued on like he didn't hear my comment. "But you betrayed her yet again."
"I never betrayed her! You did!" I shouted and dove for my sword. I ripped it out of the ground. It was the perfect time considering he wasn't surrounded by a barrier.
"WIND SCAR!" I threw my sword as hard as I could at the ground, sending giant waves towards Naraku.
Kagome managed to jump out of the way but Naraku was frozen in his spot. He gawked as the wind scar shot towards him.
