Inuyasha and Kagome

Chapter 14

Later that evening we were all sitting by the fire. Miroku had his head in my lap and he was staring at the stars. Kagome and Inuyasha were sitting on the other side of the fire arguing still.

"See why can't you be like Miroku he shows her love and not anger!" She shouted in his face.

"Well I'm sorry I'm Inuyasha not Miroku! Now your trying to change me? What next!?"

"I'm not trying to change you I'm just pointing out the obvious!"

"Well it doesn't look that way to me!" Kagome turned her back to him.

"Fine whatever just drop it." She said in a harsh tone.

"I'm not dropping it just like that!"

"Inuyasha." She growled.

"How many times do I have to say sorry before you understand?!"

"Inuyasha!" He flattened his ears to his head. "SIT!!" Kagome stood up and walked into the woods. "I'll be back." She was furious.

"Two times in one day. Wanna push you luck and make it three?" Miroku laughed.

"Shut up Miroku." Inuyasha picked himself up and ran towards the woods. "Kagome wait!" He disappeared into the darkness.

"He's hopeless." I said and started playing with Miroku's hair.

"Sango," he said and looked up into my eyes. "I don't think any of the stars can match your beauty." I blushed and turned my head away.

"Ick." Shippo said. "Get a room there are young ears over here and I do not want to ruin them." Me and Miroku giggled and he laid his head back down. I tuned back and kissed his fore head.

"I'm going to bed Miroku." He sat up and turned his body so it was parallel with mine. He laid down and I laid on his arm. He wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me close. Before I fell asleep Kagome screamed.

"SIT BOY!"

In the morning I woke up and Miroku was still fast asleep. He looked so peaceful and happy. I smiled, I am so happy. I lifted my head up from his arm and Everyone was still asleep. Kagome was sleeping all by herself, and protective Inuyasha tried to sit as close as he could get, 5 feet away of course. Kirara had Shippo sleeping a crossed her side. He had drool dripping out the side of his mouth.

I never thought I would see this ever again. I had hoped and dreamed that I could but never thought it was possible. I laid my head back down onto Miroku's arm. It was still early, the sun wasn't up yet. I pressed my head into Miroku's chest and his grip tightened.

I fell back into a deep sleep. Once I woke up again everyone was still asleep. The sun was just rising. It's early enough for me I think. I untangled my body from Miroku's grasp and sat up. I took a deep breath of the morning air. I lifted Miroku's arm from my lap and stood up. I walked over to Kagome's bag and grabbed The bottles of cleaning stuff for my hair and a towel. I know where the best hot springs are around here. I walked through the green woods. Looking at all the green, red, and brown leaves. It was so beautiful.

Once I arrived at the hot spring I was looking for, I undressed and slid into the warm water.

"Ahh." I sighed. "This is great."

(Kagome's POV)

I woke up and Inuyasha was sleeping near me. He can be such a jerk sometimes. I looked over to Miroku and Sango but Sango was gone. I sat up and my bag was open, the shampoo and conditioner was gone. She must have went to bathe. I stood up and grabbed a towel. I went in some random direction hopping it was the right way. I walked for about ten minutes until I could feel the steam. I walked a little farther and found a clearing with tons of hot springs. I scanned the area until I saw her resting in the far right corner. I walked over to her, stepping over small holes and avoiding soft dirt. Once I reached her I slid my clothes off and stepped into the small pool.
