"How is your dad feeling?" Jin asks as he steps inside the apartment, slipping off his shoes before heading into the kitchen for a snack. Chan had sent him a message during his class and usually while he does answer, he was taking a quiz so he had to wait until afterwards to get back to him. He decided to call him on his way back home because he really wanted to hear his voice.

"He's doing ok but he's having to take pain medicine frequently. Because they're strong, he's usually napping so I'm basically just chilling. How are you though?"

"I'm ok, but I think I bombed my quiz. We weren't expecting it so clearly I didn't study for it and we weren't allowed to use our notes," Jin says sadly as he pours himself a glass of milk. He opens one of the cabinets and reaches for a packet of cookies.

"Aw, I'm sorry honey. Hopefully it's not worth a lot of points so it doesn't affect your grade that much."

"Yea, I hope so too," he sighs, plopping down on the high chair, setting his glass and snack on the island. "I miss you."

He hears the front door open, letting him know Jungkook is home.

"I miss you too sweetie. I know it's been four days but I miss cuddling with you, holding you, kissing you."

Despite biting his lip, his smile is still evident and he feels his cheeks grow warm. His eyes glance up to see Jungkook walking in and they nod at each other in acknowledgement, Jungkook going for a bag of chips.

"I do too. I guess I'm just so used to seeing you and hanging out with you that since you're not here, the days seem longer to me."

Jungkook was reaching into the fridge when he hears Jin express his sadness and longing for Chan and his hand tightens around his banana milk carton. It understandably explodes inside the fridge and Jin's eyes widen when he notices this.

We've been hanging out more this week. Are you not having fun with me?

"I gotta go Channie, I'll talk to you later."

     "Ok, bye Jinnie."

Jin hangs up and looks at Jungkook worriedly as he cleans up the mess he made. He gets up to go and help him, getting the mop to wipe the little bit that dripped onto the floor.

"Are you ok, Jungkook?" Jin says as he hands Jungkook more paper towels. Jungkook takes them from him.

"Yea, I just grabbed it too hard I guess," he mumbles before quietly getting back to cleaning. "I got it. You can go talk to Chan if you want."

Jin purses his lips. "It doesn't seem like you're ok though. Are you sure you don't want to talk about it?"

Jungkook closes his eyes for a moment and sighs before getting up and throwing the napkins away in the bin, closing the fridge door on the way. "I'm fine. I'm just gonna go play some video games to distract myself."

"Can I watch? I don't have anything to do and it's fun seeing you play. I mean, to me it is. You're really good at them."

Jungkook smiles softly. "Thanks and yea, if you want to."

He heads out to the living room and sits down, turning the tv and the console on as Jin walks in with his milk and cookies. He chooses a horror game this time. He's gotten quite far in it but the section where he's at, there's slightly more jumpscares.

"What are you playing this time?" Jin muffles through his food, his cheeks puffed out as he shoved three cookies in at once. Jungkook thinks he looks like a chipmunk, a very cute chipmunk.
