It's been a few days now since Jin's been gone and not knowing where he could be is eating away at Jungkook. When Mr. Kim questioned Lisa and Jaehwan, they had told them that he was planning on going to see his parents last weekend and that was the last they heard of him. They of course wanted to know what was going on but Mr. Kim chose to not disclose anything to them.

Jungkook had tried to sneak into his uncle's office to snoop around and see if he can find Jin's emergency contacts, hoping he'd get his parents' number. But he's had no luck since he's almost been caught multiple times doing so.

Yesterday, they had gone to the police to inform them of the situation and as expected, they brushed it off as someone trying to find themselves or just wanting to escape to somewhere new. Jungkook almost went off on them since he's tired of the government and police not taking anything seriously. He has a bit of a vendetta. Luckily for him, Mr. Kim stopped him before things went south.

He still has classes to attend, as much as he doesn't want to, but it helps distract him from the wild imagination he has concerning Jin. There's so many things that could've happened and he's afraid to find out. He just wants to find him and bring him home.

He wonders to himself if Jin would be relieved to see him again or if he would hold a grudge against him. He was a complete jerk to him, not letting Jin express his side of things and assumed the worst of him. He's scared that Jin might not want anything to do with him anymore. He should've been a better person towards him from the very beginning.

He looks out the window, not giving any attention to his professor or what she's saying. He instead watches the rain race down the large glass, free falling droplets joining one another as they make it to the end of the pane. His chin resting on his hand as his arm is propped up on the table, he sighs softly until someone catches his eye. He sits upright as he sees Mr. Cho walk down the pavement, shielding himself and his messenger bag with a big black umbrella.

Without another thought, he jumps out of his seat and hastily grabs his backpack before running out of the classroom, ignoring his teacher's call for him. He races down the hall and down the single flight of stairs, loudly pushing the doors open as he makes it outside. Mr. Cho is clearly heading towards the staff parking lot not far from the cluster of school buildings. But if he hurries, he might be able to get to his car before he loses sight of him. He's a fast runner and with Mr. Cho's slowpoke of a pace, he'll definitely make it.

He gives chase, getting to his car in record time despite almost clashing into other students and almost getting run over himself. He pulls up into the student parking that is closest to the staff parking, but once he does, he can't seem to find Mr. Cho anywhere. Where the hell did he go?

He slams his hands on the steering wheel in frustration and anger, running his hands through his hair. He tries to calm himself, inhaling deeply and letting out shaky breaths in the process. Once his mind is clear, he remembers something. He checks the time on his phone.

He leaves his car and walks back into the campus square, going into the main building and towards the office. Luckily for him, his uncle should be leaving to go on a date, not with Dara since she's rejected him so many times. He doesn't necessarily know with who but he doesn't really care since what's important to him right now is knowing his uncle will be out of his office for the rest of the day. He'll just have to deal with Dara for now.

He cautiously walks in and to his surprise, Dara isn't even at her desk. However, he does hear the copy machine going off in the little room to the left of the secretary desk. He quietly sneaks into his uncle's office and carefully shuts the door behind him, scurrying towards the big metal cabinets in the back of the room. Besides student files, staff information is also stored there. If he can find Mr. Cho's address, he might be a step closer to finding Jin.

He rummages through the folders, looking for that one specific file and out of irritation, he slams that particular drawer shut before pulling out the one below it. He flips through the badly organized files, his uncle clearly stuffing them in there in no particular order or care. It would've been easier had they been in alphabetical order. He finally manages to get his hands on Mr. Cho's file, opening it and skimming through irrelevant information to find his home address.

Then he hears the doorknob turning.

He pushes the drawer closed as fast as he can and darts behind the large desk, kneeling next to the big rolling chair and hiding out of sight. He hears Dara's heels click as she takes a few steps inside and after a few seconds, she leaves and closes the door behind her. Jungkook lets out the breath he's been holding and looks down at the paper in his hand.

Finally, some progress.

Jin breathes heavily through his nose, trying to fight off the ever growing nausea. He wants to open his eyes, wants to move around but his body feels like it weighs a ton, whatever drug Mr. Cho is slipping him is hardcore fucking with his system. Despite getting a drink this morning, it feels like it's been ages. His mouth is desert dry and he badly craves for an ice cold glass of water. Something to soothe his scratchy throat.

His stomach growls from malnutrition, making his stomach pains and nausea worse. He does get fed but he's still practically starving, only getting enough food to survive.

His head lolls to the side and with the little bit of strength he has, he opens his eyes and fights to keep them opened so he can get a better look at his surroundings. He swears the whole time he's been there he's been unconscious and unaware of everything. Well, almost everything.

He starts to cry as he thinks about his parents, his friends. He wonders what they might be thinking right now. If they're out looking for him. He misses them and wishes he could return home. But he's not sure when that'll be or if it'll even happen.

He just wants to be free.
