Jin continues to bite his nails down to the bone as he listens to two other testimonies against Professor Cho, not really surprised that him and Dojin weren't the only ones. He anxiously awaits his turn to be called to the stand, going over any scenarios there may be. He's aware he's not alone though and after witnessing the strength and courage the others are exhibiting, he feels a sense of comfort and solidarity. However, he still can't help having the jitters.

Taeyong's hand snakes over to his, taking it and rubbing the back of it. He leans over. "It's ok, I'm here when you need me."

Jin hears Jungkook scoff under his breath but decides to ignore his petty ass, looking over to Taeyong with a smile. He grips his hand. "Thank you."

He gets called forward minutes after and as he approaches the stand, he clenches his fists in attempts to get a control of his nerves. He doesn't bother looking at Professor Cho as he walks by him, knowing he'll have to look at his ugly mug once he's up there. He swears and the questioning begins.

"Mr. Kim, you used to be a student at X University, correct?"

He leans forward towards the mic. "Yes, that's correct."

"And you didn't complete one full semester, yes?"

     Jin quirks his eyebrows. "Yes."

"Mm ok. Were there any distractions keeping you from continuing school?"

"What do you mean? I did my work just fine."

"Let me clarify. There was an instance where you showed up to class late, with visible marks on you. So you must've had a partner, right?"

     "Objection, your honor."

Jin sits up. "Excuse me? What does that have to do with anything?"

The lawyer smirks. "You were sexually active at this time and perhaps it didn't work out with said partner, causing you to seek pleasure elsewhere, seduce someone more experienced, perhaps?"

     Dojin's lawyer stands up. "Objection."

Jin furrows his eyebrows in anger. "Is that excuse going to be your go-to? I had no interest whatsoever in seducing that disgusting man, you poor excuse of a lawyer!"

The judge pounds the gavel. "Order, please. Is that all or do you have any valid questions?"

The lawyer puts his hands up. "No further questions at this time, your honor."

"Then take your seat."

Jin glares daggers at the pair, his nerves no longer there. More than anything, he just wants to strangle either of them but he takes deep breaths to calm himself down. There's no point in wasting all that energy on them.

Dojin's lawyer comes up to the judge's request and they pull up the first piece of evidence. The surveillance video Jungkook managed to dig up.

They play the video and Jin stares, glossy eyed as he remembers that day. God, how he wishes to forget but he knows it's essential.

"As you all saw, he was reluctant to enter that classroom, fearing what this man might do and he had every right to be. He limps out of the room an hour later, an hour of suffering and abuse caused by Mr. Cho. You recall this day, don't you?" He addresses Jin and with tears streaming down his face, Jin nods.

"Yes," he croaks.

"May I ask what happened afterwards?"

Jin clears his throat. "I got to my dorm and took a shower, but I never felt clean. I felt guilty and disgusted with myself for not doing anything to stop it but with the help of my therapist, I recognize now that it wasn't my fault. I didn't ask for that to happen to me. My fight-or-flight kicked in and I immediately shut down when I couldn't fight back."

He nods solemnly, the courtroom silent.

"You were absent from school for roughly a week or so. Why is that?"

"I was..." Jin gulps harshly. "I was held at Mr. Cho's house against my will."

A couple of gasps from the jury are heard, some wide eyed and mouth agape.

"Do you have any physical evidence that this happened?"

     "Unfortunately, no."

"Mm, I see. Do you recall anything from within that time frame?"

Jin shakes his head. "I was in and out of consciousness but I remember my body aching every time I moved. I also remember..." he pauses and starts to cry again. "I remember being r-raped over and over again."

He drops his head in hands as a means to cover himself, shame washing over him. He can't help the feeling despite knowing it's not his fault. His hiccups and sniffles echo throughout the courtroom and he's offered tissues by the bailiff.

Taeyong and Jungkook stare sadly at him, both teary eyed and Taeyong goes to wipe them away. He was aware something had happened from the little bit Jin let him know, but he's shocked as to the extent of his trauma. He wants to run up to him and engulf him in the tightest hug he can muster. He wants to let him know he's supported, loved, and cared for.

Dojin's lawyer gives him time to compose himself once more before continuing.

"We obtained hospital records, with permission of course, and there were traces of two different types of date rape drugs in his system at an alarming percentage. Recorded in his file, his state was described as incoherent, weak, and beat up, with bruises on his person and severe tearing. Try and convince otherwise that this was a willing act of sexuality," he says with a sharp look at Mr. Cho and his lawyer.

Jin is dismissed from the stand and soon after, he turns to the jury.

"With all the evidence presented to you from all the victims, I ask you that you find this man guilty of first degree aggravated sexual assault, rape, sexual battery, and registered as a sex offender. This man should not be allowed near students or anyone for that matter and should be put to jail without the possibility of parole."

"At this time, I am going to assign a recess for deliberation. We will resume in an hour."
