Jin shyly adverts his eyes elsewhere, trying to avoid looking at the still sweaty douchebag who's comfortably manspreading on the couch. He gulps harshly and awkwardly walks towards the staircase, not noticing Jungkook's sly smirk.
"Hey man, what's up?"
Jin gives him a small shrug in response.
"I'm sorry about the noise. I honestly didn't know you were home until I heard the front door close," Jungkook says casually as if he's totally not half naked right now. Jin bites his lip, still staring at the floor.
"It's ok I guess. I made a new friend while I was outside," Jin quietly mentions, trying to see the positive in the negative. He is happy that he now has another acquaintance, but it's not really idealistic to start a friendship when you're outside waiting for your roommate to finish banging someone.
Jungkook's cheeky smirk shifts to a forced smile in seconds. "Yea? That's cool," he says dryly.
"Yea, his name is San. He's told me quite a few stories about you," Jin says. "You're quite adventurous."
Jungkook's whole mood quickly dampens. He's aware of the reputation he's made for himself at this school and he knows his name gets brought up in conversations most of the time. But for some reason, he doesn't feel very good about Jin finding out about his many rendezvous through gossip and rumors, despite most of them being true.
He's a bit of a hypocrite though since he himself has given Jin a little taste of the kind of person he is. It still bothers him though and sure, he's had some fun messing with Jin these past two weeks, but he's grown a bit tired of it. It's not as entertaining as it used to be since he doesn't see Jin around very often anymore.
Jin's phone luckily saves their moment as it begins to rings and Jin smiles when he sees who it is. "Hi Channie!"
Jungkook scowls and faces the low volume tv. He tries to ignore his conversation but he also can't help but strain to listen in on what this Channie guy is saying.
"Hey sweetie. I was thinking before heading to the party we should go grab something to eat, my treat."
"Are you sure? I can pay for myself, I don't mind," Jungkook rolls his eyes at his tone.
"I'm sure! You can pay next time, yea?"
"Ok. Um, let me get ready and I'll see you in, let's say, 15 minutes?"
"Sounds good Jinnie. See ya."
"Who was that?" The question slips out of Jungkook's mouth without meaning to, but now that it's out there, he doesn't really give a shit. Jin happily skips up the stairs as he answers him.
"My best friend Chan. We're going to eat before the party."
"You're going to a party?" Jungkook mumbles and of course, Jin doesn't hear him as he's out of ear shot. He seems happy to go this time unlike whenever he invited him first. Who even is this guy and why is he so special? He only gets more irritated when he sees Jin all dolled up once he comes back downstairs.
"Enjoy your food. I'll just be here by myself, maybe eat some cereal," Jungkook says dismissively, trying to gain some form of pity, but when Jin grabs his keys and quickly says ok to him, his mouth drops. Rude.
He really debates whether he should follow him or not but he doesn't want to put clothes on right now. And yes, he admits to himself that that's pretty fucking creepy as well. He'll just find out who this dude is at Chen's.

"So where do you want to go eat?" Chan asks once Jin hops into his car, buckling his seatbelt.
"I figured you would've had that planned already since you were the one with the idea," Jin giggles and this makes Chan smile. He's always liked Jin's laugh even though others found it a bit annoying. It's unique, it's Jin and that just makes it all the better.
"Well yea, but what if you didn't want to go eat there? You have to enjoy the food too."
Jin shakes his head. "I'm fine with whatever really, I don't mind."
Now that their tummies are filled and satisfied, they head over to the house and Jin immediately grabs a hold of Chan's hand once they get out of the car and go inside. Jin still isn't comfortable in this sort of setting so he doesn't want to lose him in the sea of intoxicated people.
"Want a drink?" Chan shouts over the loud music and Jin shakes his head. Chan nods and lets him know he's going to get something real quick. As he leaves, Jin just stands awkwardly in a corner by the stairs, trying to mind his own business. Somehow someone noticed him and they stumble over to him.
"Hey beautiful. You here all alone?" He slurs and Jin cringes. What a fucking twat.
"Yes and I want to keep it that way," he sasses, but the guy obviously can't take a hint. He runs his hands down his arms in a flirty way and Jin pulls back away from him. "Go away."
Before the guy can say anything back, someone drags him away from Jin. "You deaf? He said go away."
He was fully expecting Chan but when he sees Jungkook is the one who gets rid of the drunk, he's surprised.
"You ok?"
He nods. "Thanks Jungkook."
"Jinnie, are you ok? What happened?" Chan comes back and looks at him worriedly. Jin nods softly. "I'm ok."
Jungkook looks at Chan and he figures this is the guy Jin is always happy to see or hear from. He's handsome, hell, he's fucking hot. But is he hotter than Jungkook? In his opinion, not even close but that's just because he's up his own ass. Jin looks back and forth at the two.
"Chan, this is my roommate Jungkook. Jungkook, this is my best friend Chan."
For some reason, it hurts Jungkook to only be referred to as 'the roommate' by Jin, but that's all he's really been to him. He hasn't acted in any way that makes Jin believe he genuinely wants to be his friend. He's just been a headass this whole time.
There's obviously no hard feelings on Chan's end as he smiles and greets Jungkook, but Jungkook can't even bring himself to fake a smile. He just gives him a blunt nod and leaves them before he does something stupid.
"Not really social, is he?" Chan asks.
"Oh no trust me, he's social. I don't know why he was like this just now though but it's none of my business I guess."
What either of them don't know is that Chan is aware that Jungkook is feeling some type of way if his body language is anything to go by. Jin isn't good at reading people sometimes but it's very clear to Chan. He doesn't mind however. He likes a challenge.
