Jin sits by one of the big fountains in the middle of all the buildings, waiting for his last class of the day. He has about an hour of break to kill so he decides to look around in the meantime.
His new friends had to go right after their first class ended so since then, he hasn't seen them around. They have been texting however, either during class or whenever they were able to. He honestly feels so much better about being here than he initially did. He wanted to be optimistic, but there was this fear deep down that he wouldn't make friends and that he would have to survive the next four years alone.
That fear only grew the night of the party when the only person he had talked and met with left him to basically fend for himself around strangers. He's not shading Jungkook or anything, but he has a feeling that they wouldn't interact much outside the dorm because of their contrasting personalities. Hell, maybe not even at the apartment either.
At the sound of his tummy grumbling does he finally get up, opting for a simple iced coffee and a pastry for now. Come to think of it, he hasn't had any food at all today, having skipped breakfast this morning. He definitely had time to grab something on the way, but it completely slipped his mind.
He goes to the on campus café and inhales the sweet aroma of baked goods and other foods as he walks into the small building. A few people lounge about the comfortable looking furniture, either on their laptops or just hanging out with friends. He gets in line, thankful that it's not too long, and gazes at the menu that hangs above the register. Everything sounds so good, it's tempting to just order all of what they have to offer.
"What can I get for you?" The guy at the register asks him. Only now does he realize that it's his turn and he approaches the counter shyly. He orders a sandwich and a smoothie instead of what he was planning on getting and pulls out his student ID for them to swipe. Since he's on scholarship, they're also paying for all of the meals that he gets on school property.
The guy scans and gives him back his ID and Jin notices his mouth drop open.
"Jin?"
Jin looks at the guy's name tag. "Wait, Chan?"
Both boys have the same look on their faces as they realize that it's really each other.
"Holy shit, I can't believe it's really you. It's been so long, I didn't even recognize you," Chan says with a wide and goofy smile. Jin giggles.
"It has been a while, hasn't it?"
Someone coughs from behind Jin and he blushes as he's holding up a line while reconciling with Chan. Jin just smiles sheepishly at him and steps aside to go sit at a nearby table while he waits. He just looks at Chan the whole time, not believing that his childhood best friend is really there in front of him.
Jin and Chan have known each other since they were practically babies and they would do almost everything together. It was in the beginning of middle school that, because of his father's job, Chan and his family had to move away. They didn't have their own phones yet at the time so they couldn't keep in touch with each other afterwards. It's truly amazing that fate has brought them back together, they were super close after all.
Jin's food is finally done and as he starts to get up, Chan brings it over to him instead.
"They're switching me to the back so I won't be able to talk much, but here's my number so we can meet and catch up some other time," he says, handing him his food along with a piece of paper. "It was really nice seeing you again Jinnie."
Jin smiles back at him. "You too."
They wave at each other before he retreats to the kitchen and Jin begins to eat, however because of how happy he is to finally see his best friend again, it proves difficult to even chew. He does manage to finish his lunch and he gets up to go to class, his hand clutching onto the piece of paper tightly in his sweater pocket.
Things go smoothly and although it wasn't a busy or hectic day, Jin sighs in relief as he finally gets to go back home and relax. He only has a tiny bit of homework to do, just a small discussion assignment for one of his classes that he has to turn in online. Other than that, he's completely free for the rest of the afternoon.
He fetches his phone from his back pocket as well as the piece of paper with Chan's number and he adds him as a new contact while walking towards his apartment. Bad idea though as he almost bumps into a few people on the way as well as almost getting run over by some girl on her longboard.
He reaches his apartment safely and as he walks in, he hears some strange noises coming from the kitchen. He scrunches his eyebrows in confusion and once he quickly slips off his shoes and puts on his slippers, he makes his way around the corner to investigate. However, he sees something he never thought he'd ever would in a kitchen.
There's some random guy sprawled over the island countertop, moaning at the top of his lungs while Jungkook roughly pounds into him. Both their bodies shine from the sweat with Jungkook's chest littered in bite marks as well as what looks like scratches.
He's fucking horrified.
He quickly leaves the scene and runs upstairs and into his bathroom, washing and scrubbing his eyes with water. What the fuck did he just witness?
He then faintly hears the front door close after a couple of minutes and despite being utterly uncomfortable, he knows he has to confront Jungkook. Gathering up the courage, he leaves his room and cautiously goes downstairs, finding Jungkook man spread on the couch, still seeming out of breath.
"Jungkook, what were you doing just now?"
He looks up at him and tilts his head in confusion. "What are you talking about?"
This enraged Jin. "I came home and I saw you hurting that guy! Why would you do such a thing?"
Jungkook finally figures out what Jin is talking about and he throws his head back, his boisterous laughter filling the room. Jin's face flushes, his ears turning red.
"What's so funny?"
Jungkook calms down and wipes a tear from his eye. "Oh my god, don't tell me you don't know what I was doing. Look, I wasn't hurting him, well, not in a bad way. You do know what sex is, right?"
Jin blushes even harder. "O-of course I do!" He lies, obviously giving it away with his little stutter. Jungkook scoffs.
"There's no fucking way you're this naïve." He sits up straight and looks at him, amused. "Enlighten me then."
Jin bites his lip. Maybe he shouldn't have lied to him because now what is he supposed to say? He's heard the word 'sex' thrown around at school before and when he asked his parents what it was, they refused to tell him. He figured if his parents didn't bother with educating him in that sort of thing, it wasn't such a big deal. He had lost interest in wanting to know afterwards.
"I don't have to tell you anything. I said what I came down here to say so I'll be leaving now."
He doesn't make it to the first step however as Jungkook grabs ahold of him and pulls him in towards his body, his strong arms wrapped around his petite frame.
"Y-yah, what are you doing?!" Jin grows nervous, not knowing what to do in this situation. He's being held tightly by some very handsome, very strong guy, of course he'd be clueless and intimidated. Jungkook smirks at his reaction and leans closer to his face, Jin can feel his hot breath against his neck.
Jungkook feels Jin's body trembling just slightly against his own and it makes him happy knowing he has this big of an effect on the guy. It only further confirms the level of innocence and inexperience that he has as well. Just a mere and simple touch makes him weak.
He's going to have so much fun teasing his roommate.
