It's the first day of trial and Jungkook is more than ready to have Professor Cho's dirty laundry aired out. Due to how prestigious the university is and how serious the allegations are, it's turned into a bigger deal than he expected it to. It's being broadcasted on a couple of different news outlets and he's glad it is, that way everyone can hear what a monster this man is.

Jungkook is sitting right behind Dojin and his lawyer as they wait for the judge, Professor Cho is yet to be let out of custody. He leans forward.

"Are you ready?" He asks softly over his shoulder.

Dojin turns around and sighs, fiddling with his fingers. "As ready as I'll ever be. I'm nervous though. I haven't seen him in almost a year but he still makes me feel uneasy. But I know I have to do this."

Jungkook gives his shoulder a reassuring pat. "You're being very brave right now. I don't know if this means anything to you coming from me but I'm very proud of you for standing up to him. I understand that this is very hard for you."

Dojin gives him a tight smile and a nod. "Thank you. I do appreciate that a lot."

They hear the door open and an officer is escorting Professor Cho to his seat where his attorney was also waiting for him. Minutes later, they rise as the judge appears and begins the proceedings.

As Professor Cho's lawyer does his opening statement, Jungkook's eyes flick over towards his direction and he tilts his head. Professor Cho gives him a subtle smirk and a wink before looking away and this angers Jungkook, making him want to jump out of his seat and beat the living daylights out of him. His knuckles turn white as he grips onto the back of the wooden barrier, glaring at him, his nostrils flaring.

Never has he ever had the violent urge to kill a man such as this moment.

Jin surfs through the channels, trying to look for something to watch while Taeyong is in his kitchen preparing some snacks. Both men didn't have work today so they decided to hang out and chill. As he flips through mindlessly, he quickly goes back to the previous one, catching a glimpse at what's on the news.

He leans forward and turns up the volume, attempting to hear what excuse that disgusting man's lawyer is trying to spin. Seconds later, Dojin is called up to testify and after swearing, Professor Cho's lawyer begins.

"Mr. Lim, I understand you graduated from X University, correct?"

     "Yes sir."

     "How long ago was that?"

     "Spring of last year."

"So that makes you how old now?"

     "I am 23 years old."

"So you've been well over the age of consent now. You're an adult, old enough and mature enough to make your own decisions and determine right from wrong."

"Objection, your honor. Leading," Dojin's lawyer calls out and it's granted.

Jin scoffs at the direction he's trying to go and Taeyong walks in just in time to hear him.

"Whatcha watching?" He asks as he sits down, setting his plate in front of him. He watches the news and looks back at Jin who is visibly fuming, his hands shaking in anger as they're clenched shut.

He stands up, not believing his ears. "That's fucking bullshit! Of course he didn't want it! How dare this man—"

He stops and looks down, Taeyong holding his hand in attempts to soothe him just a little. He sits back down, letting him.

"I'm sorry, I..."

Taeyong rubs his hand. "It's ok, I get it. You're allowed to feel angry about this."

Jin nods, sighing softly.

"By the sounds of it, even his lawyer is a sleazy bastard just like him. Why do they always try to victim blame? In what way did he provoke him? I'd like to know," Taeyong continues, his eyebrows furrowed as he grows mad as well. "That's a shitty defense. Where the hell did he find this asshole?"

Jin just sits there, staring holes at the tv as he thinks. He remains quiet for a few minutes and this causes Taeyong to glance over at him and he moves to face him better.

"You ok? What are you thinking?"

Jin grips his hand tighter. "I want to testify. I want to help put that man away. I need to."

     "Are you ready for that?"

Jin bites his lip. "I can't wait until I'm completely ready, I know that. If I can do something right now, I will."

Taeyong nods. "Then I'll be there with you to support you. I said I would, didn't I?"

Jin smiles and Taeyong asks if he can give him a hug. He gives him permission and he melts in his embrace, loving the way he smells. He's so warm and inviting, it's something Jin hasn't felt in a while. He begins to cry a little and Taeyong rubs his back, encouraging him to let it all out.

"Thank you so much," he sniffles. "I can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate your help."

"You don't have to thank me. You've been through a lot and the least I can do is be there for you."

They pull away and Taeyong wipes away his tears, looking at him softly. "You've been very strong and I'm proud of you."

Jin looks down, sniffling and Taeyong props his head back up with his hand, looking deeply into his eyes. "I mean it. I really do, Jinnie."

Taeyong leans forward and Jin shuts his eyes, not knowing what exactly he's going to do but when he feels a soft peck on his forehead, his cheeks flush and the tips of his ears burn red. The breath he didn't know he was holding escapes his mouth and Taeyong smiles, rubbing the apple of his cheek.

     "I—"

"Don't feel pressured to do or say something. I'm here to support you, as a friend over anything. I don't expect anything from you, I want you to know that."

The corner of Jin's mouth quirks into a smile for just a second. "Ok."
