"Come inside my office."

I take the phone from my ear and look at it. Did he just hang up on me? Without saying "please" or "thank you"?

Kainis. I slammed the phone down forcefully. There are things that I won't just tolerate and one of them is when you don't say "please" and "thank you". Just a couple of words. It's very easily said. Ikaw na lang nga nag-uutos ikaw pa may ganang maging bastos.

I lazily stretched my hands as soon as I'm done revising the yesterday's report na tatlong beses niya sa'kin pina-revise dahil hindi raw tugma doon sa naka-email sa kanya.

Over the past three months, I'd taken a crash course in the world of different kinds of business such as hotels, resorts, malls, accomodations, travel and tourism and many more. It was far complicated than I ever thought. Every day is a new round of emergency meetings and crisis.

I lost the function to sleep and above all the charade of chaos that happened into my life, let me also include my Boss, the CEO, the asshole ego, the fucker. Ladies, and gentlemen, L.J.Monteclaro.

He's an asshole whose ego is bigger than Asia and Africa combined. That's it, end of discussion and no further explanation.

Granted that he has the face, money and toned-muscular body to die for, it is only fair to say that he's every woman's dream. Also, his reputation never fails to precede him. Reporters these days were willing to write anything to sell their papers. Business mogul, L.J Monterclaro, fathers a secret daughter.

Others are worst. He doesn't give a fuck about everything. "I don't want to waste my time over nonsense bullshits. "

My consciousness went back to reality when I heard a ping on my computer. Agad kong binuksan 'yong tab ng company chat line. It was a private message from the CEO.

Linkurt Jade F. Monteclaro, CEO: You deaf or mentally retarted? I told you to get your ass in here. Now

Huminga ako ng malalim at nag-repply.

Inez Natasha A. Garcia, OOC Secretary: Printing

"Mag-antay kang animal ka!" Nang matapos mag-print, inayos ko ang sarili ko at tinahak ang daan papunta sa opisina niya. Hindi na ako kumatok dahil hindi deserve ng kamay kong mapagod.

There's a pile of documents scattered around his desk. Eyes are bore on his laptop. I walked in and cleared my throat as soon as I reach his desk. His gaze went to mine and he leaned back on his desk and stared at me for several seconds.

"Did you forget your manners, Ms. Garcia?" he said.

I gave him a sarcastic smile. "Mr. Monteclaro." Clearly his expecting me to greet him. After the incident yesterday I already lost my manners. "Here's the third time revised report, Mr. Monteclaro."

I drill my eyes on him. Inside my head, iba't-ibang uri ng mura ang nabubuo. I am mentally replaying what happened yesterday.

"You fucking let this!" he roared. Were inside the board room infront of the board and investors. The audit and monthly report on the presentation are different to the distributed papers.

He pointed a finger to me. "I thought you have a background in finance? How come you let this slide?"

Anger fired inside me and my hands are clenching into fist. In my peripherals, nakatingin sila lahat sakin. One of them even muttered, How could she let this happen? Incompetent.
