"Anak, quiters are losers. Kung alam mong nasa tama ka, ipaglaban mo ang sarili mo."

I'm dressed in a tight, dark blue high waisted, knee-length pencil skirt with side slit that I partnered with a red sweetheart tube and red stilettos.

"Perfect," I said as I am done shading my lips with a cherry red lipstick. Last night, I have read an article about "5 Easy Ways to Get Fired" and I am so ready to execute my plans today. "Break a leg, Tasha. Today is your last day."

I check my finger nails that I painted with red-matte manicure last night. "Perfect." Tiningnan ko ang kabuuan ko sa salamin.

From my medium brown wavy hair, cherry red lipstick, red nail polish, dark blue high waisted, knee-length pencil skirt down to my red stilettos. "I looked like a fucking devil." I told myself.

I immediately went to my car and start driving, I'm running late today but that's fine because it's part of the plan. Nang makapag-park na ako sa may company's parking lot, sinuot ko ang dark-blue elbow length blazer ko at pumasok na agad ako ng entrance para mag-time in.

"Good morning, Ma'am." bati sa'kin ng lady guard. "Mukhang blooming po kayo ngayong umaga." sabi niya habang nag-check ng bag ko.

I winked at her. "Today is my last day, Ate." Kumunot ang noo niya sa'kin pero hinayaan ko na lang dahil dumiretso agad ako ng elevator. The receptionist girl even looked at me with jealousness in her eyes.

Everyone inside the elevetor are staring at me, binigyan ko na lang sila ng matamis na ngiti. Last day ko na 'to kaya sulitin na lang ng mga mata niyo. Lumabas agad ako ng elevator nang makarating ang 30th floor.

Sinalubong ako ni Roy na biglang natulala at nautal nang makita ako. "Go-good morning po, Ms. Nat," namula ang tenga niya. "May email po si Sir Lin for today's agenda. May emergency meeting po ngayon sa conference room that will start an hour from now."

Conference room and meeting. "Agenda?" I glanced around. "Nandiyan na ba ang Boss natin?"

Umiling siya. "On the way palang po. Ms. Nat. Merging po ng LuXe at MGC ngayong araw." paliwanag niya.

"Pumayag na si Sir Pete?" tanong ko sa kanya. Ang alam ko kasi matagal na niya plano na i-merge ang LuXe at MGC, approval na lang ang kailangan.

"Opo, due to some circumstances."

Tumango ako at nginitian ko siya. Pumunta agad ako ng cubicle ko at umupo sa swivel chair. I turn on my computer to check the email and while waiting I took my phone out of my bag and saw my twin's message on IM.

It was a photo of my nephew wearing a suit.

Bakit naka ganyan yan pinaglaruan mo na naman

I three dots appeared.

Si Boss baby daw siya

To: Talia Kuling
Boss baby?

From: Talia Kuliling
panuorin mo then gift mo siya suit on his 3rd birthday

Nakita ko rin na may text sa'kin si Penny.

From: Penny
forget ur boss, may hunk akong friend pakilala kita

"Good morning po, Sir Lin,"

He entered the floor. As usual, he was dressed flawlessly in a charcoal designer suit. Magkakulay sila ng suit ng pamangkin ko.

"Coordinate with Mr. Lantahan for me the merging later." sabi niya kay Roy. The floor's overhead lights twinkle on his signature cufflinks as he looked at his watch. "We still have an hour," He told Roy, sabay naglakas papuntang office niya.
