“Hey.” I said opening the door to Dylan.

“Hello, are you ready to go?” he asked.

“Yeah, just let me grab my bag and my keys.” I said going into the house.

“Are we not taking my car?”

“Well no. this way I can drive you about and show you the place.” I said unlocking my car.

“Oh well that makes sense, I suppose.” He said and we both hopped in a got our seat belts on.

We drove around for a few hours stopping off at various places. Then we decided it was time to go and get some food because I was really hungry.

“Where do you want to go?” he asked me.

“Well I know this great diner. It is in the middle of nowhere but it makes the nicest food ever.” I said remembering the place where Jason and I used to go when we were younger.

“Let’s go then.” He said putting on the radio. Immediately one of my favourite songs at the moment came on. James Arthur- Impossible.

I started singing along as a force of habit. Then I remembered I wasn’t alone. That soon made me be quiet. I felt the heat rise in my cheeks.

“No really keep, going you have a beautiful voice.” He said which I am quite sure made me even redder.

“No. I don’t.” I argued.

“Yes you do. Honestly, I wouldn’t lie to you.” He said turning the radio down.

“Well, obviously you would because you are lying to my right now.” I stated.

“Right, well, I really don’t want to get in a fight with you. We will just have to agree to disagree.” I smiled.

I laughed. And smiled at the moment it feels like it is only Dylan who can make me smile.

“Dylan?”

“Um... Yeah?”

“Have you found your mate yet?” I asked.

“Well… I did but she kind of rejected me because she wanted to be with her boyfriend instead so yeah.” He said sounding a bit upset.

“Do you mind if I ask who it is?”

“Well, actually I never learnt of her name.” He said looking out the window.

“Well, that makes two of us that don’t know what is going on with the whole mate situation.” I said reassuringly. This made him smile.

“Oh yeah, you and Jason.”

“Don’t remind me. I may have kind of semi-rejected him. Oh, I don’t really know what happened between us the other night.” I sighed.

“Hey, Sunflower, cheer up.” He smiled. And his smile was pretty infectious.

“Sunflower?” I asked laughing.

“Yeah, what’s wrong with it?” He asked looking a bit hurt.

“Nothing, I like it, but why?” I asked.

“Because your blonde hair looks so shiny in the sun.” He smiled again.

OMG… why does he keep making me blush like this?

“We are here.” I said turning the key in the ignition and jumping out of the car. Dylan did the same.

“Ally?” he asked.

“Um, Yeah?” I asked.

“Tell me about yourself because your life just seems to intrigue me.” He said which made me laugh so much.
