I am actually so nervous! My palms are clammy and I think I am on the verge of having a mental breakdown.
My mother is coming today. 'Mother' that is a bit weird because really she is a bit of a stranger to me. But I still couldn't help feel a little excited, she is my mother after all. She may have not have been here for most of my life but she has very good reasons for that.
It is a miracle to be honest. Everyone told me my real parents were dead and to have them come back into my life feels unbelievable really.
I could hear the beating of my heart through my chest. It literally felt as if it was going to pop out of my chest at any given second.
The doorbell rang giving me the signal that Mrs Finn was here. Or mom. Or whatever! What shall I call her?
I opened the door to see that she had brought a child with her.
"Hi!" She said happily giving me a hug. I politely returned the gesture although I was feeling a bit awkward.
"Hello. And who is this wee woman?" I asked smiling at the little girl with rosy cheeks and a cute pink outfit on. My mother was carrying her.
"This is your little sister, her name is Zoë." She beamed at her daughter.
"Hello Zoë." I smiled.
She just gurgled obviously because she is so young I would say about one.
"Do you want to come in?" I asked.
"If you don't mind." She said timidly.
"Of course I don't mind." I said standing to one side to let Zoë and my mother in.
I led her into the sitting room.
"This place hasn't changed." She said looking around. I took my seat beside Jason and ushered for Mrs Finn to sit opposite us. When u made contact with the seat I was kind of relaxed again because you just seem to sink into these seats. But the main reason being that I was with Jason with a protective arm around me which made me relax into him.
"Thanks for speaking with me." Mrs Finn said finally braking the awkward silence that had fell between us.
"No problem. So what was it that you wanted to say?" I asked taking a sip of my tea. When did that get there?
'I made it when you were at the door. I know it keeps you calm.'Jason said through our mind link.
'Thank you babe.' I relied back, squeezing his hand. He is seriously trying his best to show me that he was serious about us. I am so glad we patched things up. But seriously we should get back to the matter at hand.
"Your father and I are very unique wolves. We have powers only a few wolves have ever had. We are war wolves. We are very good fighters. But when we found out we were mates we knew that we could be together. He was future alpha and so was I. But our packs hated each other..."this story was a little long and quite boring o be honest. So I cut her off.
"I am sorry but does this story go anywhere?" I asked I didn't want to sound rude or anything.
"Yes well we ran away and ended up here and we joined this pack. Our fathers were even more angry then and then came after us and declared war on this pack. We had you a couple of weeks before the war. And if we died we knew that they would be after you so we had to give you to humans they wouldn't think of looking there. And we were told that maybe if we left and left you here then the war would not take place. They were right." She said, tears strolling down both of our faces by the end of the whole story. Jason was looking at me telling me that everything was going to be ok with his eyes. He was absent-mindedly rubbing circles on my hipbone. It was a very small but soothing gesture. His smooth skin touching mine, sending tingles through out my whole body. I love the feeling it gives me.
