In Denial

Chapter 15

Okay, so right now I am following Mrs Finn. She hasn't done anything out of the ordinary just stopped to get some groceries.

After she left the supermarket she headed into the next town. It is called Trainwood I think.

She picked up two kids from a daycare. I am assuming they are hers, but you never know I could be wrong.

She headed deep into the forest. What a weird place to have a home. I thought. But when I got there I understood why. Obviously this was a pack house. Now what pack lives around here? Let me think.

Ah yes! It's the Valentine Moonlight Pack. They have such a weird name like I mean it has no history behind it whatsoever.

It seemed like a nice place to be though . Children running about, the grown ups all having a laugh. Mrs Finn walked up to a man that I gather is her husband by the way she went up and kissed him and stared lovingly into his eyes.

The two girls that seem to be twins made sicky faces. I wouldn't blame them. I wouldn't like to see my parents doing that. Especially in front of my whole pack. Gross!

The man chuckled,obviously finding this funny and twirled the two girls round in his arms. They giggled. The sight made me happy. I wish Jason was like that with our children one day.

Wait! Did I just think that? I must be going mad like I am nowhere near ready to actually be his girlfrind never mind have his children! But I suppose it is just a matter of time before we do actually get together. We are mates after all. We have a bond.

Everyone went into the house and I decided to get out of my car and go and confront Mrs Finn because I have so many questions going through my mind right now.

I rang the door bell and waited. The door opened and there stood Mr Finn.

“Hello dear my I help you?” he asked a bit confused.

“Oh yeah. Mrs Finn is my drama teacher and I nedd to talk to her about this new assignment thingy.” I lied.

“Could you not have just asked her tomorrow?” He asked.

“Yeah.But it is due tomorrow.”I said.

“OK I will go and get her now, come in and take a seat in the sunroom noone is in there so you can concentrate.”he said with a general smile.

“Thank-you very much.” I beamed back at him.

I waited in the sunroom for4 a few minutes before hearing the clip clop of heels and the Mrs Finn stuck her head through the door and looked at me surprised.

“Ally? What are you doing here?”she asked.

“I need to talk to you.” I said with a shy smile.

“What was it you needed to talok to me about?”she asked sitting down beside me.

I thought for a minute of how I was going to ease into this conversation.

“Why did you cry the other day when I introduced myself?”I asked.

“I wasn't crying it was just my allergies playing up?” She said but it came out as more of a question.

Like I was going to believe that pile of BS!

“Mrs Finn seriously please tell me I was kind of freaked out by it.”

“I wasn't crying seriously I dont know what had gotten into me, probably just the pregnancy hormones.” she just dropped that into the conversation easily.

“OH my.. congradulations.”I smiled happily.

“Thank you dear.” she smiled.

Oh my gosh! She just tricked me! She just changed the subject. Wow! She's good.
