It is Christmas Eve and I am completely buzzing!

Bob and Sally are coming today. If you are wondering who they are, they are Danny’s parents. I actually love them two they are so funny, it’s great.

Danny and I are on our way to the airport; Mel couldn’t come because she was having a bad case of the morning sickness. Hopefully she will be OK for their arrival.

We arrived at the airport. For some reason I have always been fascinated by planes. The way they take-off and stay up there even though they are so heavy.

I love airplanes!

“What time do they get here?” I asked.

“It should already be in, But they haven’t collected their bags yet.” He said getting out of the car.

I followed him inside this huge building. I was so lost.

“Where do we go?” I asked.

“To the bag depot.” Danny said in a duh tone.

“Well, sorry but I have only been here a few times.” I said throwing my hands up in the air.

“We need to find them before they get lost.” Danny stated walking off.

“Do you remember that time…” I trailed off laughing.

He started laughing as well.

You see Bob and Sally are the proud type of people and they don’t like asking for directions and one time they were travelling across state and they got so lost they ended up at the other side of America!

We walked over to where you collect your bags and waited for them.

Once I caught a glimpse of a fiery, redheaded woman and a tall, tanned dark haired guy, I nudged Danny.

“Were you looking me?” He asked rubbing his side.

“Look.” I said pointing in the direction of where I saw the two people.

He followed the direction of where I was pointing to and his face lit up like a Christmas tree! No pun intended.

“Mom, Dad!” He said running over to them and hugging them.

“Hello darling!” Sally said with tears in her eyes.

They pulled away after a few moments and her eyes lit up to see me.

“Ally!” Sally squealed hugging me.

“Hey, Sal.” I said hugging her back.

She looked around.

“Did Mel not come?” Bob asked sounding a bit disappointed.

“No she was feeling sick and wasn’t up to travelling, she really wanted to come but I told her that she had to stay at home and rest.” Danny shrugged.

“Look at my little boy! Growing up so fast and is so caring.” Sally said pinching Danny’s cheeks.

“Mom!” he groaned.

“Sorry I just missed you.” She said.

“I missed you too.” He said giving her a kiss on the cheek.

Even I had to mentally aww at that one. He is just so nice all the time!

“Let’s go and meet the in laws then.” Bob said and lifted his bags.

Danny lifted his mother’s bags and we all followed him out to his car.

The two boys sat in the front while I sat in the back with Sally. The boys were talking about what is happening within their pack.
