Jason’s POV
How could this happen? She was fine a few minutes ago! She was talking, she kissed me. How could anyone ever do this to her? She is perfect and doesn’t deserve this.
“Jason we need to get her to the pack hospital.” He said running out to his car.
I was frozen to my spot. I didn’t know what to feel. What to say. I was like I was dying along with her. NO! I am not going to let her die. I lifted her up gently and ran out to the car. The doctor gave me a confused look and I put her into the car.
The doctor had already got the car started.
“Don’t worry, I will do my upmost best to help our Luna.” He smiled and turned the sirens on. It was like one of those doctors on call vehicles.
I looked down at my mate. I have never seen her so weak, so defenceless. The doctor had put her bleeding head in a bandage that helped to slow the bleeding, it wasn’t really helping though. She was attached to a ventilator.
We arrived at the pack house and into the hospital wing. She got her own private room that was reserved for Alpha, Luna, Beta and Beta female. And their families of course.
I watched as she was hooked up to different machines. I just stood there in the corner looking helplessly at my poorly mate. I didn’t even realise that my dad had entered the room until he put a caring hand on my shoulder.
“She is in the best hands, son.” He sighed sadly.
“I know.” I said. Tears were starting to form in my eyes and the next thing I know there is a waterfall on my face.
Mom came in and started crying when she saw the sight before her. She came over and hugged me tightly. I hid my face in her neck. I hate people seeing me cry. I was meant to be strong, future Alphas are not meant to cry like this. It is only Ally that can make me feel this way though.
The doctor came to us with a worried look. Oh no! That can’t be good.
“I am going to be very to the point here,” He sighed loudly, “Ally, is in a critical state. I will have one of my staff in here at all times. Her heartbeat is very weak and her chances don’t look good, I am sorry, Jason.” He said sadly.
I just slid down the wall and cried and cried. I don’t know how long I cried for but I cried until no more tears would come out. My mouth was dry, my throat was killing me. Luckily, it was my mom that was in here tending to Ally. I didn’t have to embarrass myself further. But she had tearful eyes as well.
“Here is a drink of water and some food. Please eat something. We all need you to be as strong as possible. Especially Ally, the stronger you are the stronger she will become. It is to do with your mate bond.” All I thought while I ate was that I have only just got Ally back and I am determined not to lose her again.
----------2 days later-------------
Ally has made no progress but she hasn’t got worse either which I am thankful for. Her chance of surviving is getting better by the day.
“Son, go and have a rest, get showered and eat.” Dad said softly.
“I can’t leave her dad.” I stated. I haven’t left this room in the past two days only to go to the toilet.
“I will be in here and if anything happens I will mind link you.” He offered.
“Yes son, it is for the best. You don’t want to get ill of exhaustion, do you? That will make Ally weaker.” My mom chirped in.
“Fine.” I said getting up. I kissed Ally on the head softly, so I didn’t hurt her. “I love you.” I whispered I her ear.
I walked out of the hospital wing. Everybody I saw looked at me with sad eyes and bowed their heads. I slowly made my way up the stairs and into my room. Everything felt so cold. It just didn’t feel right lying in my bed trying to sleep knowing that Ally is fighting for her life.
