Chapter 30

We walked into the room full of people from the pack. Everyone was here and waiting in anticipation. Natasha and Dylan weren't sitting together which was weird saying as they were completely mated now.

We got to the front and everyone looked at us. There was Colin and Maria to our left side and Mitchell and Chloe to our right.

I was really nervous about our answer; I hope nobody doesn't agree with what we have decided.

“Well what is your answer?” Colin asked.

“Dad, we are saying yes.” Cheers erupted through the audience.

“But...” Everybody stopped cheering. “After the school year finishes.

“But we have to take over the pack immediately.” He sighed.

“I know but I think that we should just finish this school year first.” Jason said.

“Right, we will alternate between the packs. Here during the week and the Red Blood Pack at the weekend.” Colin nodded.

“When you get off for summer break we will have the ceremony.” Colin asked but it was more like a statement.

Jason and I nodded.

“OK, everyone thank-you for coming, you are dismissed.” Colin said and then everybody left.

“I need some air after that.” I said.

“OK, dad wants to talk to me and then I will be out.”

“OK.” I said then pecked him on the lips.

Natasha jumped out in front of me.

“That should be me!” she screeched. Her voice would go right through you. A low growl escaped my lips.

“I should be becoming Luna not you! That title belongs to me.” She yelled.

“Look, Natasha I can see that you are upset. You ruined things for yourself. You were the one that cheated on him! You used him just for power. Me on the other hand I love him for him!” I said pushing her out of my face. She was seriously just like the annoying orange! You know the one on YouTube? Well, times that by 4!

“He is mine!” She shouted.

“No actually he is mine!” I said. He is my mate not hers.

“He still hasn't mated you; I still have time to win him back.” She said evilly.

“Oh please! He wouldn't touch you with a ten foot pole!” I laughed.

“You are just saying that because you are a jealous bitch!”

“Jealous? Who really is the jealous one here?” I asked smugly.

Mel came out and started laughing.

“What are you doing here? Should you not be with your mate? And I would be careful who you talk to and how you talk to them! She is your future Luna!” Mel said angrily.

“I will be the next Luna! She should respect me! We all know that nobody can resist me! I bet if I even went near him when you weren't there he would just mate with me there and then!” She said laughing evilly.

“You keep dreaming there! I am marked and you are mated he wouldn't even go near you!” I said and walked into the house and slammed the door in her face. I was so angry at that moment.

“He marked you?” Mel asked smiling.

“Yeah, last night.” I smiled.

“No way! I am so happy for you both! We are definitely going on a shopping trip tomorrow we need a good catch up!” She exclaimed hugging me.
