Chapter 27

It is Christmas! I absolutely love Christmas. It is like the best time of the year. With all the snow and the family gathering. Though my family aren’t going to be home this Christmas! I can’t even talk about them right now. They haven’t even called or anything and we are already going to open the presents.

But I am glad to have a loving family around me. With a beautiful new addition to the family. These guys make me really happy.

Maria picked a present from under the tree and gave it to baby Ally.

Awk, how cute baby’s first Christmas present. The proud daddy was taking loads of photos of his baby girl. I can’t believe what a cute family unit they make already.

The next present given out was Jason’s and it was from Colin and Maria. It was a small gift it could fit in one hand. It looked like a box shape.

Jason opened it with sheer anticipation. I have no idea what it was they are very good at keeping secrets. That reminds me… My mom I wonder what she is doing right now. She left a gift for me at the door of the pack house. I haven’t opened it yet and I am not quite sure if I am going to. I don’t know what to do in this whole situation everything is so confusing at the moment.

I watched as Jason tore open his presents and revealed a set of keys.

“These are car keys.” He said.

“Yes, because we got you a car.” Maria said happily.

“A white Range Rover.” Colin said smiling.

“My dream car.” Jason breathed.

I smiled at how happy he was with his present my present will not match that but I hope it comes close enough.

I will give it to him later though in private.

Jason is giving me mine later as well.

I didn’t realise that I had been staring into space for the last few minutes until Jason gave me a gentle shake.

“Oh sorry, I was away with the fairies.” I smiled.

“Are you OK?” Jason whispered.

“Yeah I was just thinking about your present.” I said truthfully.

“Are you sure?” He said putting a comforting arm around me. The sparks that erupted through my body gave me the feeling that I was safe right here in his arms.

“Yeah.”

“Here you go Ally petal.” Maria said handing me a perfectly wrapped gift.

“Oh thank you, but you didn’t have to get me anything.” I smiled.

“Don’t be silly pet, we have always gotten you a Christmas present and just because you have been away for two years doesn’t change that.” Maria smiled.

I looked at the box before me I had no idea what was inside it. I hope it is nothing too expensive because I really don’t deserve these people all being nice to me.

“Are you going to open it? I can’t wait to see your face!” Colin said excitedly.

I tore the wrapping off to reveal a box with I picture on it. The picture was an iPhone 5!

“Oh my gosh… Thank you so much but you really shouldn’t have spent that much money on me.” I said with ominous tears welling up in my eyes.

“We think of you as a daughter.” Maria and Colin both said in unison.

“Thank you I love it!” I said hugging them.

Jason was smiling intently at me. I smiled back at him.
