In Denial

Chapter 26

A/N: Sorry I haven't updated in a while I have been sper busy and then sick and then i had some sort of writer's block so I am sorry about that I hope this chapter is Ok for you as i said I was suffering writer's block and it is a bit iffy. SO HERE IT IS!

Chapter 26

“My mom is dead.” I said shaking my head in denial.

“If you would just let me explain?” She sounded desperate.

“There is nothing to explain! My parents are dead what kind of sick joke is this?” I said tears now pouring out of my eyes.

“No. This is no joke. I am being serious. There is a really good explanation for this.”

“There better be. Fine, explain then. Let me here what you have to say.” I said getting angrier.

How could she say this crap? Everyone has told me that my mother and my father are dead. So who is lying to me then?

“Is there anywhere we can go?” She asked.

“Yes my parents’ house.” I said walking in the direction of my house.

“I will meet you back at mine then.” Jason said walking in the other direction.

“No, this won’t take long. I want you to stay with me please.” I pleaded with him.

He nodded and wrapped his arms around my waist rubbing circle on my hip comfortingly. It is good to know that I have someone that is her for me no matter what even if I was a complete cow and rejected him. He still wanted me, still wants me.

The short journey back to mine was silent and the tension was completely thick it actually felt as if I was suffocating it was that bad.

I sat down on the sofa with Jason and she sat opposite us.

“Right say what you have to say so we can get back to the pack.” I sighed.

“Well, I know that you think that your father and I are dead. But to tell you the truth we are placed under protection by the werewolf council and the pack.”

“Why?” I asked confused.

“Because mine and your father’s old pack formed an alliance after we left and then they came looking for us when they found us they declared war on the pack. So they thought it would be best if we left the pack and changed our names. But, really the packs were after you because of your unique powers you are one of the strongest werewolves ever.”

“This still doesn’t explain much.” I said getting agitated.

“I know it is a very long story. Anyway, we thought it was best if you were placed under different protection than us because if they ever traced us again then they wouldn’t find you. That is why it was best if you lived with humans instead.”

“Well that explains a bit more but I am still so confused why have you never got in touch or told me this before? Who else knows that you are still alive?” I asked really confused with so many more question running through my head.

“Just Jason’s mom and dad.” She said.

“Why didn’t they tell me? When I asked about you Maria acted as if you were dead why would she do that to me?” I said almost breaking down again but managing to retain myself.

“I don’t know all I know is that I really regret leaving you and not even trying to get in contact. I was just really scared and I am so sorry.” She said sadly.

“You regret leaving me? You never even tried to get in contact with me. And what made you want to tell me now?”

“Because, I felt guilty and I can’t live this lie anymore. I have wanted to tell since that first day I saw you in school.”
