"Dark grey?"

"Dark grey?"

"Yes, Professor."

Flitwick scribbled furiously on a piece of Parchment.

After returning, first thing you did was headed for the staff room. The teacher inside happened to be Flitwick, McGonagall, Snape and Sinistra, and they were caught off guard when you walked in.

It was the weekend and the weather had turned to cold rain, so they didn't expect to see you outside the Gryffindor tower until Monday.

You quickly explained a little panicked what happened, with the dark grey glow and Cricket and nearly injuring your parents with the flying objects and all of them listened intently. You omitted the burning of the jumper from your story though.

McGonagall made you sit down and summoned some tea for you as she tried to calm you down and ensure everything was alright.

The teachers quickly started throwing ideas around.

"Surely, this is best to just hand off straight to Dumbledore." Snape intervened.

Flitwick shook his head "Dumbledore entrusted Minerva and I to handle Y/N's condition."

"How about a magic seal Filius? You can make one, can't you?" Sinistra suggested.

Flitwick thought about his friends suggestion carefully, turning the quill in his fingers.

"Seal?" You asked confused.

He looked at you.

"It's a kind of locking spell. It seals the magic and stops it. I could make one for you, but I don't want to do that if I can avoid it. I believe it's best to teach you to control it over stopping it."

"And what if she can't control it?" Snape asked smugly.

McGonagall scoffed "She will do just fine, there's no reason to make her nervous Severus."

Flitwick revised your classes together, adding more time onto them. Repeating that with enough practice you would have no problem controlling your powers and it was nothing to worry about, but you could tell he thought it was something to worry about.

You left in a saddened mood.

Not in the mood to face the Gryffindor common room, which was sure to be filled after the break, you headed to the library.

One, because you were sure it would be nearly empty due to everyone leaving for Christmas. Students who did so would either get their work done beforehand or their parents forced them to do it at home, so there was no late turners.

Two, it was quiet and easy to find a small secluded area.

Three, there were student picture books there.

You had lied about seeing the photo to Lucius, but that didn't mean they didn't exist. One place you were sure they did though, was the student photo albums available to everyone. You wanted to see that picture of your mother.
