Your first week in Hogwarts was pretty eventful. The first morning you woke up the earliest and headed to breakfast. You dreaded the letter from home that day but it actually turned out better than you expected.

You were also nervous about not having Cricket by your side who seemed to be the only creature alive that could stop your powers.

You and Draco's owl landed on the table and left you a parcel and a letter before it headed to Draco with another parcel and letter. You opened it with shaking hands.

Dear Y/N,

I hope your enjoying school despite the horrific mistake that happened on your sorting. Your father is already on the case. Despite this we are still very proud of Draco and you. I have sent both of you some treats from home, I'll try sending them to you often, you can share them with any friends you hopefully made. We miss you both.

Love, Mom.

You sighed happily, Your mother wrote it not your father, which was a momentary relief but it soon turned into an uncomfortable feeling. Despite Narcissa's re-ensuring words you knew Lucius probably wasn't happy.

It trouble you but you tried not to worry for atleast the week. Ron and Harry turned up to breakfast late almost everyday except for friday when they actually arrived on time.

"Are my eyes playing tricks on me or you two actually on time for breakfast?" You asked sitting next to Harry on said morning.

"We actually didn't get lost today." said Ron proudly.

"Congratulations." You joked putting some eggs on your plate.

They responded enthusiastically almost jumping to tell you about all their lessons and classes, you agreed with Harry that history is pretty boring, it was the only class held by a ghost Professor, named Professor Binns, his voice was one of the most boring repetitive voices in the history of all voices ever, only Hermione could focus on his lessons, other students losing attention or falling asleep within the first twenty minutes.

You also agreed on the fact that Transfiguration was hard and that Herbology seemed a little complicated, Harry seemed relieved that though he was technically raised by muggles he wasn't really far behind.

"What do we have next?" Harry asked finishing his breakfast

Ron took out his timetable "Oh no, we have Potions with Slytherin, They say that Professor Snape favours them since he is their house head." he sighed.

"I wish McGongall favoured us." Sighed Harry, Professor McGonagall was head of Gryffindor, which didn't stop her from giving everyone a ton of homework.

A majestic snow owl came down and dropped harry a letter.

"Hagrid invited me for tea tonight." He announced.
