So I'm gonna need to edit grammar in some chapters, but it's late so that can wait until later. Enjoy.

You yawned as you entered Flitwick's class that Friday.

"Goodmorning Professor." You announced seeing the short man looks through for papers on the desk.

"Yes, good morning Miss Malfoy, how was your summer?"

You looked around the room and saw three desk rights in the middle of the room, a large vase stood on each all in different colours. You figured they weren't new decoration.

"Good" you answered a little confused "Professor...what are those for?"

He chuckled "Actually for you." He stopped writing to look at you.

He stood up and walked around the desk gesturing around the room.

"I think we made a mistake last year, we kept trying to find out what your power is without first asking how it actually works" he walked forward "The limits, the strength, what truly provokes it, we know so little about it."

You frowned. He was right of course, your magic was a freak of nature and you knew that very well. It was frightening to think about.

"Last year it got bad-"

"It nearly ripped off my arms." You finished.

"Yes" he said sympathetically "That's why my priority is to figure out exactly how it works and help you control it, it is a safety issue now."

You nodded sadly "Okay."

Flitwick reached a paper from his desk "From your notes, I identified three types of magic you can do, the one you can do through your wand, the one you use with your hands and the one you use with just your mind. Today I want to test your hand magic with the vases. Could you try crumbling them like the one you did last year?"

You nodded trying to stay positive "Sure."

You put your bag to the side and rolled up your sleeves. You'd lie if you said you weren't a little nervous, it took a while since you used your powers and you didn't want to look stupid or incompetent, or worse ruin the classroom by accident.

You stood upfront of the tables. Flitwick stood back and took out a clock from his pocket.

"Now if you feel like it's too much for you then stop, we don't want to risk your health," He then looked at the clock "You may start."

You let out a breath then lifted up your hands focused on your hand and on crumbling the red vase on the desk closest to you.

You felt the energy going through your hand and the vase shook.

You steadied your breathing and watched as it suddenly cracked and fell apart into a pile of fragments.

"Very well." He smiled. You let out a happy sigh and smiled at him.
