Veronica's POV

I ended up doing exactly what Jughead told me to do. He stayed at the trailer with the kids while I went out with Cheryl and Toni. We didn't do much other than talk. I mean, we didn't really have anything else to do. We went to eat at Pop's and walk around town and then go back to theirs.

"So, when are you and Jughead planning on having more kids?" Cheryl asked. I smiled and laughed.

"Uhh, I didn't think we were planning on having more kids," I told her. She scoffed.

"Oh, please. For the last two weeks, you two could barely keep your hands off of each other. Are you sure you're not pregnant again already?" She asked. I just rolled my eyes.

"I'm most definitely not pregnant again," I told her. "But if we were to have more kids I would probably want to wait till Camila is about four or five. Maybe more five."

"How old is she?"

"She's three right now. She turns four in three months. But Jug and I just got back together so I would want to wait longer. I know, as Cheryl said, we haven't been able to keep our hands away from each other, but we did just get back together. So, just let it take time."

"If you say so," she says. I looked over and Toni was on her phone. smiling.

"Who are you texting?" I asked.

"Well, as Cheryl was asking you that I wanted to know Jughead's answer so I texted him and asked him the same thing." I rolled my eyes.

"Oh. my God. What is wrong with you two? Weren't you two planning on having kids together, too?" They both stopped and looked at each other. They smiled ear to ear. They both avoided eye contact. "What? What is it?"

"We may have already gotten the process started," Toni said.

"Wait, really?" I asked. She nodded. "When?"

"A few weeks after we got married," Cheryl said. I couldn't help, but smile.

"I'm happy for you guys!" I told them. They just smiled.

"Yeah, I just can't wait till we actually have the baby," Cheryl said. I just smiled at that. My phone suddenly went off.

"Who is it?" Toni asked.

"It's just Aaron. He's asking about me and Jughead. You know he is so obsessed with us being together. I mean, he didn't threaten Jughead when we were in New York." I told him.

"He did what?"

"He just told him not to hurt me again."

After a while, I left. I took my time to get back to the trailer. I finally had a day off from everything. I didn't have to deal with the kids. I mean, I love them but sometimes I just want a break. This is my first time being away from them in too long. A part of me is happy that I'm away, but the other part is missing them.

Once I got back to the trailer I found the two kids sitting at the table eating and Jughead leaning against the counter watching them. I couldn't help but smile. I shut the door as quietly as possible. I just wanted to enjoy this moment. After a few minutes, he finally saw me. He smiled and walked over to me.

"When did you get back?"

"Just now. So, how were they?"

"They were great. You raised them well,"

"Well, I did have four other people helping me. But now we are raising them. Our kids." He chuckled.

"I still can't believe there are two." I smiled.

"Yeah, sorry I didn't tell you sooner. And I shouldn't have left the way I did."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, I got upset, took our daughter, and left town. You never got to see her again."

"No, you had a perfect reason to leave. I'll be honest I was upset about it, but I was gonna let you take your time." I just smiled and he wrapped his arm around me.

"You'll be an okay dad," I told him. Suddenly my phone buzzed. I looked at it and sighed.

"What is it?" He asked.

"It's nothing. I just go to take this." I said and walked outside. When I got there I saw him standing there. I sighed.

"Can you just leave me alone, please? I just want to live a normal life. You're not helping me do that."

"Well, I figured we should talk since you were back in town again." Sweet Pea said as he walked closer to me.

"What could you possibly want to talk about?"

"You and Jughead. Your kids. Maybe what happened before you left town two years ago." He said.

"That was a one-time thing.  And it was a mistake. That never should have happened."

"Come on. You were heartbroken. Besides, I know you enjoyed it."

"Okay, why are you even bringing that up. You and I slept together one time after Jughead and I broke up. Why does that matter now?" I asked him.

"Does he know?" I sighed and looked down.

"Of course not."

"Does he know you and I kept in contact for a while after you left?"

"Can we just forget that any of this ever happened between us?"

"What are you going to tell him if he ever starts question?"

"What are you going to tell Betty?" He sighed. "Exactly."

"I'm going to tell her things soon,"

"Tell her what. That you and I both got dumped only days apart and then hooked up right before I left town. That we kept in contact for the two years after I left. That you and she got back together six months before I got back. Then, Jughead and I get back together with no too long after I get back. Have fun telling her that story." I told him. "Now if you'll excuse me I should be getting back inside."

"She's pregnant." He said. I looked at him.

"She's what?"

"She's pregnant. It's mine, obviously. But I'm scared. I'm twenty-two and gonna have a kid. You're twenty-one and you have two. And we all know it should be three." I looked down when he said that. "I'm sorry. I just don't know what to do."

"How far along is she?" I asked him.

"Four months," I sighed.

"I'll help you, but I'm not talking to her. Just meet me at Pops tomorrow morning. Ten, I guess. We can talk more then." I said.

"Thank you," He went to hug me but stopped. "Sorry,"

"It's fine," I said and walked inside.

"Who was it?" Jughead asked.

"It was just Sophia. I'm gonna start getting ready for the night." He nodded and I walked to the bedroom. What have I done?
