1 Day Till The Wedding
Veronica's POV
I was laying in bed, cuddled upto Jughead, four hours later. For the past half hour, everybody has been calling me and sometimes Jughead. I don't think anybody knows what we're up to. My phoen was, once again, ringing. I sighed.
"I think I should answer it now." I said and started to reach for my phone. He pulled me back.
"Nooo! Just ignore it. Stay here." He said. I smiled a kissed him a little.
"Just let me look at it." I said, and grabbed my phone. I sighed. "It's Cheryl calling again." I said.
"Ignore it." He said.
"They have the kids and we kicked them out and they didn't even come inside." I told him. He chuckled.
"Correction, you kicked them out. I did not." He said. I laughed and answer Cheryl.
"Yes, Cheryl?" I asked her.
"Finally! We still have your guys' kids! What are you two doing?" She asked. I smiled and bit my lip a little.
"We needed a break! Leave us alone." I said and Jughead started kissing my neck.
"It's been four hours!" I heard Toji say in the background.
"Shush!" Cheryl said. "Anyways, we're on our way back now with your kids."
"Stop." I whispered to Jughead. He chucked and just continued kissing my neck.
"Who are you talking to?" She asked.
"Nobody. Okay, just bring them back. When will you be here?" I asked her.
"In just a couple minutes. We are almost there." She said.
"Oh, shit." I muttered and quickly got up. Jughead looked at me confused. I quickly picked up Jughead's clothes and threw them at him.
"What?" Cheryl asked.
"Nothing. See you guys in a bit. Bye." I said and hung up. I looked at Jughead. "They are almost here." I said and started getting dressed. Thrn there was a knock at the door. "Go answer it." I told him and he went and answered the door.
"Where's Veronica?" I heard Madelyn ask.
"Right here." I said and they all looked at me.
"Why did you both come from the room?" Toni asked.
"How would you know if we both--" Jughead cut me off.
"Let knocked, hut let themselves in." We both looked at Cheryl.
"Hey, that was not me. That was Sophia." She said. Of course it was.
"So here, take you kids. They're aren't our responsibility." Sophia said.
"Baby, be nice." Madelyn said.
"Look, you two are now calling each other baby." I said. "Who all knows?"
"We told them just the other day. You already knew so we didn't care." Sophia said. I laughed.
"Okay, goodbye." I said and they all left. Jughead and I looked at each other. "Well," I said.
"Well," he repeated and sat on the couch. "What are we gonna do now?" He asked.
"Well, we wasted half of our day in bed." I told him. He smirked.
"Wasn't the first time. And admit it, you love doing that as much as I do." He said.
"Which part? The wasting the day or--"
"The wasting the day part. And the other one part too." We both laughed a little. I sighed and sat next to him. He pulled me closer.
"It's only three in the afternoon." I muttered. "Why did they have to come back now?" He chuckled.
"Because that's what they do. Ruin the best times at the worst possible moment." He said. I laughed.
"That's true. They suck." I said.
"Looks like we get to be with these two for the rest of the day." He said, pointing to the kids. I looked at them.
"Yeah, that's not a bad thing. I guess." I muttered.
"Oh, shut up! You love them a lot!" He said.
"Yeah, more than anybody else in the whole world." I told him. He just chuckled and didn't say anymore. Then there was a knock at the door. I sighed. "Again? How many times has that door been abused today?" I asked. He got up and laughed.
"What?" He asked me. I just shrugged. He opened the door and I heard a familiar voice. Oh, you've got to be kidding me.
"Hey, Juggie." She said innocently. Betty. Dammit! She looked over and saw me. "Veronica, I didn't know you were here." She said. I just smiled at her the best I could. I really fucking hate her. She looked back at Jughead. "Are you ready for tonight?" I looked at Jughead, confused. From what it looked like, he was just as confused as me. This is Betty up to her little tricks again, isn't it. I rolled my eyes and stood up.
"I don't know what you're talking about, Betty. I-I--" Jughead stuttered. I smiled at Betty and they both looked at me.
"Betty, nobody wants you here and nobody wants to listen to your bullshit. So leave. Now." I said she didn't move.
"Well, Jug and I have a date tonight and I--" I cut her off.
"Even if you did, you don't anymore. Goodbye, bitch." I said and shut the door. He chuckled and looked at me.
"Are you jealous?" He asked.
"What, no?! I just hate Betty that's all." I said and sat back down.
"I think," he said and sat next to me. "You are a little jealous." He said with a laugh.
"I'm not." I said, looking away from me. He chuckled.
"Whatever. I know you are." He muttered.
"Okay, maybe I am a little." I told him.
"Ha! I knew it." He said and I looked at him. "You have nothing to be jealous of. I hate Betty, too." Then he phone buzzed. He looked at it and sighed.
"What?" I asked.
"It's Betty." He said.
"What? What did she say?" I asked him and he showed me.
Betty
B: What is she now? A casual hookup? Or are you two together again? You know you won't last. You two aren't ment for each other. I love you, Juggie. So much more than she does. Meet me at Pop's at Seven, please. Love you!
I rolled my eyes.
"Bitch!" I mumbled and he kissed me passionately.
"Don't be jealous." He said.
"I'm not anymore. But she is a bitch." I told him.
"Yeah, I agree." He said.
"Exactly. So dont just assume I'm jealous." I said and he nodded. We spent the rest of the day with the kids.
