The Day Of The Wedding
Veronica's POVGoing back and forth between Cheryl and Toni, trying to make sure my kids are staying where I told then to stay, making sure Jughead isn't doing anything stupid, because he's a big kid, and trying to stay sane and sober during all of this is absolutely amazing.
"Hey, Cheryl, how are you?" I asked, as I shut the door. She looked at me.
"Just freaking out a little." She said, trying to make her voice sound normal than nervous.
"Nervous?" I asked her.
"A bit." She muttered.
"Understandable." I said quietly. "You good in here?" I asked her.
"For now." She said.
"Great!" I said and left to go back to Toni. I looked at the kids, then at Jughead. He had his beanie on again. I walked up behind him and took him. He looked at me. "You're at a wedding. I understand it's your child but you can leave it off for a night." I told him and fixed his hair a little. He sighed.
"Fine!" He said and I started to walk off.
"Also, go watch the kids, please. They're yours too!" I told him.
"Okay." He said. I then walked to where Toni is.
"Hey, Toni, you freaking out, too?" I asked her.
"I don't know. How bad is Cheryl freaking out?" She asked.
"Not very. You?" I asked her.
"Just a little." She said.
"So is she. You both are liars." I told her. Ehe laughed. "You're laughing." She sighed.
"How much longer?" She asked. I smiled and looked her dead in the eyes.
"Thirty minutes." I told her.
"Oh!" She said, worriedly and nervously. I chuckled and left. I found Jughead with the kids. I went and sat next to him.
"You okay?" He asked.
"I'm exhausted. I'm trying to got back and forth between Cheryl, Toni you, and the kids." I told him. He chuckled.
"Well, I'm with the kids, and why were you watching me?" He asked.
"Because you are a kid yourself." I told him. We both just laughed.
After abou twenty-five minutes, I went to Cheryl then Toni and told them each. They both were nervous then happy. I love tmseeing their faces.
Skipping the whole marriage part because I'm lazy
I sitting by myself, when Jughead walks over to me. Everybody dancing with somebody at this point. He holds a hand out and smiles. I just looked up at him.
"Would you like to dance?" He asked. I rolled my eyes and sighed.
"You are so cheesy and I hate you." I said, taking his hand and he pulled me up.
"No you don't." He whispered. I just smiled at him and we started dancing together.
"This feels like we're back in highschool. At prom." I told him.
"Yeah, but now we are not out as a couple and I haven't heard anything and believed it." He said. I just rolled my eyes and just leaned into him a bit.
"Yeah, do you think anybody will figure it out anytime soon?" I asked him. He shrugged.
"I don't know. I feel like Betty knows, but I'm not so sure. Where are the kids?" He asked.
"Kevin went and put them to bed. It was getting late and they were falling asleep." I told him.
"Oh, did he take them back to the trailer?" He asked. I shook my head.
"No, just inside Cheryl's and Toni's since we're already here." I told him.
"Great! Do we get to stay here? Or try and not wake them up and take them back to the trailer?" He asked. I sighed.
"I didn't think that far. I guess. I can ask Toni if we could stay here. She might question why I'm asking for you to stay, too." I told him.
"I can just go back to the trailer." He said. I looked at him.
"No, I want you with me." I told him.
"Okay, I'll stay." He said. I looked around the room for the two girls. I found them and I saw them looking over and me and Jughead. I smiled and laughed a little. "What?"
"Cheryl, Toni, Kavin, Aaron, Sophia and Madelyn are all looking over at us. They're whispering to each other." He laughed a little.
"Do you think they'll figure it out?" He asked. I shook my head and slowly closed my eyes.
"No, I hope not." I said tiredly.
"You tired?" He asked.
"A little, yeah." I muttered.
"Okay, come on." He said and brought me over to Cheryl, Sophia and them. "Hey, she's tired. And the kids are already asleep here."
"Yeah, just stay for the night." Toni said.
"Thank you." And we walked off. I heard them whispering again. He brought me to a room and layed me down on the bed. He started leaving, but I stopped him.
"Wait, stay with me." I muttered. He looked at me. "Please!" I whined. He chuckled.
"Okay," he said and layed next me, pulling me close. I grabbed him hand and traced my finger over the tattoo on his wrist. I smiled.
"I'm still happy that we did this." I said. He pulled me closer.
"Me too. Me too." He said and I slowly drifted off to sleep.
