Secrets

Veronica's POV

I'm currently sitting in Pops with Cheryl and Toni. They have been talking nonstop about their baby. I also told them about Betty's and then they wouldn't stop talking about that for a while. I don't care that they are talking about it, it just makes me feel a little left out honestly. 

They finally stopped and looked at me.

"Are you okay, Veronica?" Cheryl asked me. I looked at her.

"Yeah, I'm fine I'm just thinking."

"Wanna tell us what about?" Toni asked.

"It's just last night, Jug had left and come back home later than he said he would. I couldn't sleep so I waited for him. When he got home the kids woke up. And Camdyn called Jughead his dad." I smiled a little. 

"Really? That fast?"

"I said that too."

"How long have they known him for six months?" Cheryl asked.

"I guess they just knew,"

"Or Jughead has been telling them when you're not home," Toni said.

"Would that really be a bad thing?" I asked her. She just shrugged. 

After a while, I went back to the trailer. When I got there I didn't see Jughead, but I did see Fp sitting on the couch and the kids were playing on the floor. He looked up at me and smiled. 

"What's going on? Where's Jughead?" I asked him.

"Oh, he is in the back grabbing something. You're bad early." He said and stood up.

"Yeah, Cheryl and Toni hs places they needed to be today," I told him.

"Okay, I got this-" Jughead stopped when he saw me and both hands went quickly into his pockets. "Veronica, when did you get back?" 

"Just now."

"Oh, okay."

"Why was I not supposed to come back? Was this a bad time?" I asked. I am really confused right now.

"No, it's fine. I just wasn't expecting you is all."

"I better go. I'll you both later." Fp said and quickly left. 

"What was that all about? Why was he here? What were you going to show him?" I asked.

"It's nothing, baby, just leave it alone."

"Leave it alone? How am I supposed to do that? You've acting really weird since last night." I told him. He sighed and smiled at me.

"You're gonna have to wait to figure it out."

"Figure what out?"

"That's a secret. And you have to wait."

"For what?"

"After we get married."

"After we get married?" I asked, He nodded. "Well, when the hell is that going to happen?" I smiled a little just thinking about marrying him.

"I don't know. We just have to wait for a see. Besides, we've only been together, again, for almost six months." He said.

"I don't see the problem with that, "He quickly looked at me and smiled.

"That's funny. I love you," he said. 

"Mmm, I'm debating."

"Don't do that. You love me and you know you love me."

"Only sometimes. Other times I question why I'm with you honestly." I told him.

"Ow, my soul." He said sarcastically. 

"Grow up you big baby," He chuckled and gave me a light kiss.

"I love you," I rolled my eyes.

"I love you, too," I said annoyed.

"You're so mean,"

"I'm glad you think so."

"I gotta go to work," He said. "I'll be back on time this time I promise." I nodded and he left. God I love him.
