1 Day Before The Wedding
Veronica's POV

"Jug, when do you think we should tell everybody we're together again?" I asked him. He came up behind me and wrapped his arms around me.

"I don't know. I was gonna wait for whenever you were ready." He said. I smiled a little.

"You always seem to be waiting for something." I told him.

"No, I'm always gonna wait for you." He said and I smiled.

"Stop!" I said and he chuckled. "You need to stop waiting for me." I told him.

"If I waited for two years, I think I could wait forever." He said. I turned and looked at him.

"You don't have to wait forever. Not anymore. You shouldn't even have waited for me. I never thought I was coming back." I told him.

"And I still would have waited. No matter what." He said.

"That's amazing, Jug." I said and kissed him. Then there was a knock at the door. I pulled away and sighed. He went and opened the door.

"Do you remember me?" I heard a woman ask. Who is that?

"Uhh," he sighed. "No, I don't think I do. No." He said. I knew he was lying. I just smirked and listened.

"Are you sure? I was here a couple weeks ago. You left me to leave by myself after pur night together." She said. I'm sorry what? I still didn't move or anything.

"I don't know what you're talking about. Umm, goodbye." He said and shut the door. He walked back over to me.

"Who was that?" I asked him.

"Nobody. Just a mistake that was never supposed to happen." He said.

"Are you sure?" I asked him. He nodded.

"Yes, absolutely. Toni and I went out for drinks and she let me go home with that girl. I asked her about it the next morning." He said.

"And what did she say?" I asked him.

"To get over you because it's been two years." He said. I smiled and laughed a little.

"How many times did she come over?" I asked him.

"Only that drunken night. She tried coming again, but I didn't let her in. I guess she tried to do it again." He said.

"I don't like her." I said . He just chuckled.

"You don't have to be jealous." He said.

"Well, if she comes back, I'll kill her." I told him.

"I'll remember that." He said and kissed me again. My phone started ringing. I pulled away and looked at it.

"It's Cheryl. Her and Toni are both probably freaking out now." I told him.

"Why?" He asked.

"Its one day before the wedding." I told him.

"Wasn't Toni just freaking out like two days ago?" He asked.

"Yes, she was. And I just said, it's a day before the wedding. " I told him.

"They're just overreacting." He said.

"Have you ever been engaged or married before?" I asked him.

"Well, no?" He said, kind of questioningly.

"Exactly. So don't say anything about it." I told him.

"You haven't been either." He said. "Have you?"

"No." I said.

"Exactly." He said and pulled me closer. "And I'll hope to change that." I smiled.

"Really?" I asked.

"Yes, absolutely." He said and kissed me. He deepened the kiss. I slowly pulled away.

"Cheryl and Toni need me." I said quietly. He sighed.

"You suck." He muttered. I looked at my phone and sighed.

"Nevermind. They're coming over here with Sophia and Madelyn." I told him. He sighed.

"Dammit!" He muttered. Then there was a knock on the door. I went and answered it.

"Hey, guys!" I said. "Didn't know you were showing up now."

"I texted you ten minutes ago." Cheryl said.

"Yeah," I mumbeld. "What did you need?" I asked her.

"To hang out for a while." Madelyn said. I looked at Jughead who was just smiling.

"I have a better idea." I said and looked at Jughead. "Go get the kids." I mouthed to him. He walked to the back and I looked at the others.

"What's going on?" Toni asked. I just smiled at her. Then Jughead came back. They all looked equally confused. "We're tired of these two. They're three and two and won't calm down. Take 'em." I said, shutting the door and locking it.

"What was that?" He asked me. "They're not that bad."

"Shut up." I said and kissed him. He kissed me back.

"This fast?" He asked.

"This our third time being together. Does it matter?" I asked him.

"I'm not gonna argue." He said and kissed me again. There was a loud knock at the door. I knew that was Cheryl. We ignored them and went back to the room.
