15 days till the wedding
Veronica's POV
I woke up in Xavier's arms. Again! This is starting to feel uncomfortable and I don't even know why. I started to get out of bed.
"No, where you going?" He asked with a small chuckle. I smiled at him.
"I'm getting up for the day." I told him.
"Why? Stay with me." He asked. I smiled and rolled my eyes.
"I would love to, but Cheryl and Toni's wedding is in 15 days and I would like to spend more time with them. Besides, Aaron's here. Hangout with him." I said.
"Can't. He's hanging out with Kevin!" He said and sat up. I rolled my eyes and started getting around for the day.
"Sophia and Madelyn." I said.
"I would. If they would stop flirting twenty-four/seven." He said. I nodded.
"Yeah, I understand that. But, I have to go. I'll be back later." I told him.
"Okay. I love you." He said. I smiled.
"I love you, too." I said and texted Toni.
Toni
V: Are you and Cheryl free today?
T: Always.
V: Great! I'll see you after a bit.
I got to Cheryl's and Toni's, and before I could even knock Toni opened the door. She smiled at me.
"I've been waiting for this." I said. I smiled.
"For what?" I asked.
"For you to finally text us and have just the three of us to hangout!" She said.
"That makes two of us then." I said. "Where's Cheryl?" I asked.
"Somewhere. I don't know." She said.
"What does that mean?" I asked her.
"Somewhere around here. In the house." She said.
"I'm right here! I've been here the whole time!" I looked over and saw Cheryl.
"Have you really?" Toni asked. Cheryl nodded.
"Yes?!" She said and looked at me. "I know you saw me." I shook my head.
"No, I was to busy talking with Toni to even pay attention." I said. She rolled her eyes.
"You two are horrible. Especially you Toni." She said.
"What did I do?" Toni asks.
"Why is Veronica still standing outside? So unwelcoming." She said and walked off.
"Is she okay?" I asked.
"She's just stressed. Wedding stuff." She said.
"That's understandable." I said.
"Okay, get your ass in here." She said and I rolled my eyes.
We talked for a few hours. Until Sophia decided to text me telling me I needed to come back. I asked why but she didn't tell me.
"Okay, I'm here." I sighed. "What did you need?" I asked.
"I can't do it anymore!" She said. Now I'm confused.
"You can't do what anymore?" I asked. She looked around and sighed. Then dragged me back to the room She was in. "What the hell is happening?" I asked as she shut the door.
"It's her! I can't!" She said. I sighed.
"Okay one, calm down. Two, you can't just say two words and expect me to know what you're talking about." I told her.
"Right, sorry." She said.
"What is it?" I asked. She sighed and sat om the end of the bed.
"I like her and I'm freaking out over it!" She said. I smiled.
"Is it Madelyn?" I asked. She slowly nodded. "I've noticed something."
"What?" She asked.
"When it comes to Madelyn you become really weak." I told her. She smiled a little.
"You've noticed that?" She asked.
"Yes, we all have. I'm not sure if Madelyn has noticed, most likely not, but we all see that she likes you, too. Just ask her out." I told her.
"How?" She asked.
"Just walk upto her. It'll be fine." I told her.
"Can you do it for me?" She asked.
"Uhh, no." I said.
"What? Why?" She asked.
"Because she's your crush not mine." I said and she sighed.
"Fine. Do you really think she likes me?" She asked. I nodded.
"Oh, yeah!" I said. Then, my phone buzzed. "Oh, look who it is!" I said showing her my phone and She rolled her eyes.
"Shut up!" I shook my head.
"Come with me." I said pulling her off the bed.
"What?" She asked.
"Don't question. Just trust me right now." I found Madelyn in her room. "Madelyn!" I said and she looked at me.
"Yeah?" She asked with a small smile.
"Sophia has something she would like to tell you." I said.
"What?!" Sophia almost yelled.
"Yes, you do. I'll be right back." I said and started walking away. I looked back at Sophia who flipped me off. I just smiled and stood outside the room and listened.
"So, what is it you wanted to talk about?" Madelyn asked. I just hope Sophia will be able to so this herself. She stuttered for a second before getting right on to the point.
"I... I like you, Maddie." She said. "As in more than friends." It was silent. Was I wrong about Madelyn liking her back? Shit! Sophia's gonna kill me! "What was that?" I heard Sophia ask then Madelyn giggle.
"I like you, too!" She said. I let out a tiny sigh of relief and walked back into the room, smiling.
"What's happening in here?" I asked.
"Oh, please. You were just standing outside the door. You heard everything." Sophia said.
"Yeah, I was." I said. "So, what is this? And did I help?" I asked. They both smiled.
"Well yes, you did help actually." Sophia said and Madelyn grabbed Sophia's hand.
"Oh, my God! Finally!" I said.
"But you are the only one who gets to know." Sophia said.
"For now." Madelyn added. I just smiled.
"I'm just happy that you two are together." I said excitedly.
"Thank you, Veronica." Sophia said. I nodded.
"Anytime." I said
