A Few Weeks Later
Veronica's POV

Sofia, Aaron, and Madelyn came the day after they were born. They've been here the last two weeks. They said they would stay for a little while.

Not too long after Caydynn and Colton were born I realized something. I remembered that I didn't tell my parents. They know about Camila. They know about Camdyn. Although, they've never met them. Well, my father hasn't. He wasn't very happy when I got pregnant as a teen. It's not like I planned for that to happen. And I know we should've used protection, but we were teenagers and we thought we could be okay. Honestly, we were stupid. I won't lie about that.

My mom on the other hand has met them. Both of them. I mean, she had to do it behind my dad's back but she did. Although, it's been a whole because I never told them I moved back to Riverdale. I was home alone with Camdym, Caydynn, and Colton because Camila is at a friend's house. Time is going by too fast. I thought the pregnancy was fast but during that time Camila started 1st grade and Camdyn started kindergarten. I decided to call my mom.

The phone rang twice before anybody answered. I really hoped it was my mom to answer. My dad would sometimes answer for her because he's an asshole.

"Hello?" I let out a sigh of relief when I heard my mom's voice.

"Mom, thank God. I'm glad to hear your voice again." I smiled.

"Veronica, hi. Did you get a new number?"

"Yeah, sorry. It's been real busy lately."

"How are the kids?" I just knew she was smiling. She loved them with everything she had.

"That's what I called you about," I told her.

"Has something happened?"

"Nothing bad."

"Then what?"

"How fast can you get to Riverdale?"

"A few hours why?"

"There are two more members of the family you should meet."

"I'll be there as soon as possible,"

I waited a few hours and when she texted me she was close to town I texted her the address. She was here as quickly as she could be. Right now we are sitting in the living room and she's holding Colton while I'm holding Caydynn.

"How old are they?" She asked.

"A few weeks," I told her. "I knew you'd want to meet them so I called you. Camila is at a friend's house."

"How old she now?"

"Six. Camdyn is almost five. They're growing up too fast."

"Well, that's how that works." She said. I smiled. "When did you come back to Riverdale?"

"A few years ago Cheryl and Toni invited me to their wedding. I came along with Aaron, Sofia, and Madelyn. Also, Sofia and Madelyn are together now."

"Finally. Those two have been hiding their feelings for each other since they were fifteen."

"Right. But Xavier got mad that Jughead and I were hanging out again." I basically told her the entire story of what's been happening the last couple of years. Leading up to right now. "So, how are you and dad?"

"Oh, I've been great. As for your dad, I have no idea. I left him a year ago. I was tired of all his bullshit." She said.

"Good for you,"

Then the door opened and we both looked over. We saw Jughead walking in. He gave me and my mom a confused looked but didn't question it. He knew not to say anything yet.

Later that night after my mom had left and the kids were asleep was when he questioned me finally.

"What was your mom doing here?" He asked.

"I called her. She hasn't seen the kids in forever I figured she'd want to see them again and meet the twins. She's always wanted to be a part of my life my dad just didn't let her."

"I thought she didn't like the thought of you having a kid at 17."

"Well that was six years ago she grew. Plus, my dad was controlling her at that point in time. He's always been horrible to her. I just could never do anything. But she finally left him last year. Please, Jug. I don't want this to be something we argue over. She's a nice person she's just been forced not to be." He walked over to me.

"I'm not arguing about it," he said calmly. "I was just wondering. Let's get to bed. It's been a long day." I nodded and we did exactly that.
