Melikşah's POV

"Sultanım, can you sit here for a few minutes, until I sleep?"

I nodded and sat on the bed right beside her.

She slowly shut her eyes to sleep and I placed my hand over hers.

"A lot of things are in my mind. Ama- even if I sit for minutes talking to you, I won't be able to speak it out.
You can't imagine what I really went through. The fear of losing you made me realise your importance, Elçin.
To be honest, I never understood you much. But I know a thing very well, you have a pure heart. You've always had, but perhaps I was blind. I ask for one thing from Rabb, don't ever leave me, Elçin. I won't be able to bear that. I'm still new to your world. Let me learn more of you. Let my disturbed heart be soothed by your pure one."
I mumbled to myself.

Perhaps she didn't hear it as she had almost fallen asleep.
I kissed her hand and touched her forehead to check if the fever was down. It seemed better than before.

Covered her properly with the blanket and didn't leave the yurt rather slept on the sofa.

Woke up the next morning to find myself covered with a blanket. I assumed she must've done it.
I freshened up. We had planned to leave to Isfahan that evening.

Minutes later, Kılıç approached me.

"Sultan Melikşah... Aren't you leaving today?"

"Evet. 'We' are leaving. InşaAllah"

"This means, Anatolia is mine now."

He gave a long sigh.

"This doesn't mean that you do whatever you want, Kılıç. Very honestly, I don't trust you at all. Yet I give you a chance. But this is the last. Remember, I'll not even think once before beheading you."

He smiled and his smile seemed really fake to me.
I didn't want to continue the conversation with him, so I left.

Little while later, my mind was so busy that I didn't realise and stepped in Elçin's yurt instead of mine.

She was in front of the mirror and her hair was quite wet.
She was getting dressed up.

She turned surprised.

I switched my gaze away and told,

"Afedersin.. I was heading towards mine, but didn't realise."

"Sorun değil." She replied in a calm tone.

"Bu arada we'll be leaving tonight. I hope you're prepared."

She nodded and then made a disturbing face as her hair stuck in the hook of her outfit.

She tried to help herself but couldn't.
I went towards her and asked,

"May I?"

She nodded slightly and turned her back towards me.
Her hair smelled of flowers and her dress of the scent that she usually wore. The mirror was in front of us. I untangled the few strands and hooked up her dress. She didn't speak a word but her breath grew heavier.

By then I noticed a bruise on her neck. I pressed it a little with my thumb.

"Aah" she whimpered.

I didn't ask her but assumed it that the bruise might be due to Markus' attack.

I took the oil and applied it on her bruise. As I was applying it gently, we looked at each other in the mirror and smiled.

We didn't speak anything yet her eyes filled with tears as I admired her in the mirror.
She turned her gaze away and I too kept the bottle of oil and left the yurt.

Just a little while later, a soldier came to me.

"Sultanım! There's a really important news."

"Söyle"

" We've found Markus' dead body in the nearby forests."
